The show is top-gear, and almost every car guy(including myself) loves it. The stig is kind of a joke, but the dude can drive.

That's like saying the Bugatti is fast, the world is big, or the ocean is deep. Talk about an understatement... lol

Powerblock what a joke. It's nothing but a biased commercial.

Top Gear is the must unbiased honest car review going.

As for the secrecy of the Stig. It just adds to the show.

Palsut Topgear is a British car show produced by the BBC. Because of this they don't take in any advertising dollars from any auto manufacterer. As a result they can tell just how rubish a car is without worry about losing advertisers. The three hosts balance eachother nicely. Ones a horspower hungry nut, one is more of a sports car purist and the third is more of practicality and comfort.

Only bias they really have is against american cars.

They test the latest and greatest cars along with testing old cars to see how they are now.

Sorry, I know what show is about. I actually talking about Stig while on this topic. Why they must have "secert" stunt driver? I don't watch lot of tv since working night shift. When I read about black stig got fired because he show world about who he is. Now white stig is show himself and probably will be fired like everyone think that happened to black stig.

Re: Stig Revealed (no spoilers in title post, just a link) - 01/20/09 06:53 PM

Origin of the name "Stig"

The Stig's name derives from presenter Jeremy Clarkson's days at Repton School; where, according to Clarkson, new students were always called "Stig".[2] A proposed name for the Stig was originally "The Gimp" until protests from Perry McCarthy put a stop to the idea.[3] There have been two official Stigs on the show, while various other Stigs have made cameo appearances for particular episodes.
