The close one, is that an F-5? F-20 maybe?
And the ones in the background look like F-18's, though I can't tell due to the picture size.

The foreground is an F-5. There are no F-20s in the US military. The ones in the background are F-18s.

I think Herc needs to wait until the sun has risen and crawl all over those bad boys and take us some pics of them.

If only the top pic had some more lighting across the bottom. You need a tripod and rig the camera for more exposure (if you can).

nice looking shots at anyrate... I was down at the Mariners Museum last week in Newport News VA...very close to Langley AFB...I kept hearing jet noise until I finally located the sounds...an F-22 Raptor flying maneuvers...what an awesome sight

Isnt that one of those PaveHawks?...somebody either gets to work VERY early in the morning or he is there all night.
Also, isnt the plant where the C-130s are built near you there in GA?

Sunrise isn't until roughly 730 around here
I get to work at about 630 to beat the traffic and I leave at roughly 2pm
That's just a regular H60 with a refueling boom.
And yes I share an airfield with Lockheed. Both the C-130Js and the F22s are produced here.
A new F22 rolls out for test flight about once a week or so.
