Used speakers help - 08/06/06 04:36 PM

I met this guy at work who had the same kinda car as me but a 93, and he had Infinity speakers in it, and he was selling his car and took them out. And he asked me if i wanted to buy them, and i said how much. Hes asking $200 for front and back both of them. He's had them since March 2004. These are pics of them:

Ask to try them out first if he'll let you.
Infinity is awesome but they have better speakers, such as the kappas and other dual-coil ones.

Be careful with Infinity. Some of their speaker lines are powered with amps built into the speaker. In other words, the head unit does not power the speakers, they power themselves. Unlike a normal stereo that has a passive speaker.

See if you can try them first.

as far as i know:

If they're self-powered, you flat out cannot use them.
