how to tell if i have a DHP pcm - 12/19/11 11:49 AM

i know this sounds like a obvious question, but i got a supposidly DHP pcm off craigslist, but it doesn't have a inventory sticker on it or anything, so i was wondering whats going on. i will hear the fans stay on after i shut it off for that 2 minutes likes its posted, but other things ive noticed at WOT it wont hit 6k rpms. and i ran my car with a friends aeroforce and did 14.92@92... mind you this just a intake and pcm. and my gtp has 223k on it so im not expecting the best times.. my WOT kr was 2.3.. so i dont know if thats good or bad but thats what i did. just wondering if i got jipped haha.

Fans on, raised rev limiter, skip shift down shift, raised speed limiter ( stock gtp 126 gt/se 103?) just off the top of my head.

it still shifts before 6k(doesnt reach6k) in perf mode, it doesnt seem to shift any different, and i havent tried the speed limiter. Idk if setting are changed in park but it still has the 4k limiter. everybody says a pcm is night and day and i just couldnt feel it. my PCM doesnt had DHP inventory sticker on it either so it just furthers me to believe i got screwed. Thanks untrustfull people on CL..

from a stop take off normal (like grand ma) to 20 MPH or somake sure the car has shifted into 2nd gear, now slow down to just below 15 and start to accelerate again, did the car shift back into 1st? PCM cars will shift back into 1st at 15, stock will stay in 2nd unless you practically stop.

Since my car already had 107K on it, I had them leave the stock rev limiter. It's not like I need that extra 500 RPM, I just wanted the higher shift pressure & fan turn on mostly.
