I miss Chico. I hope he is still doing okay.

I sold my red TGP and am trying to sell my black GTP now.

Got a turbo diesel Jetta, Audi A4 1.8t Quattro (few mods) and an 03 GSXR 600. Looking to get a 2011 Honda CBR this summer.

I stick around just to help out and for the lulz.

I'm here, there, and everywhere... Still driving the G35 as a daily and picked up a Chevy 1/2ton truck about a year and a half ago as a project. It's been a project alright... lol

I lurk every now and again just to see what's up around here, but don't post often.

Anywho's... I'll see about posting more on the truck when I get her running again if anyone's interested.

Doing my thing... getting ready to overhaul the Pink Panther this summer with side skirts, some rust redux and redo the engine bay. Also, trying to figure out what to do with all these damn Pontiacs I'm collecting.

Hello guys,

Good to see you

I'm driving a 97 Chevy Silverado SUV 5.7 I think for you is the Tahoe or the Yukon and for weekends and nice days a 2001 Suzuki GSXR 600.

Regards!

I still pop in every now and then.
Still driving the GP. Would love to put her in permanent retirement, but unable to do so at the present time.

Funny.. Last time I logged in was shortly after a thread like this was started.
GTP is still a garage queen... Only comes out on nice days/race days. I stopped showing it as of last year. Too lazy to clean it after racing. Finally put a DP on it and larger brakes in the front with stainless braided lines on all 4 corners. Front STB and diagonal braces... Little stuff, just to let her know I still care... wink

Re: Former frequenters and where they are now - 04/15/12 05:15 PM

Still have Colleen and Shianne. Colleen is pretty much done, just waiting on me to finish MAF tuning so I can move on to re-programming the PCM. I've been mulling over whether or not to go with the GT1 cam with the VR roller rockers and springs, but at nearly 1,000 USD I probably won't.

The Camaro is finally gonna get a stage 1 clutch from RAM Clutches and quite a bit of suspension from Strano/BMR/UMI. I'm just waiting on a new flywheel and strut mounts.

Outside of that, the wife and kids are all still great. My wife is LOVING her new Remington 770 .270. I'm now a squad leader and am getting ready to get my guys out the door. By Halloween, we'll be enjoying tax-free paychecks. And earning that imminent fire pay. This SHOULD be my last deployment before getting a ROAD assignment, what with my having 5 years left until retirement.

I show up once in awhile here, but most of the truly devoted have already answered the questions I would be able to answer, so no need to beat that horse, ya know?

Who was the last to talk with Chico? Did he ever make it back to Canada?

Haven't heard anything about Chico since he went north. I thought his health drew him back up there but I might be wrong.

Re: Former frequenters and where they are now - 04/16/12 10:11 AM

Nope, not currently deployed...yet. I'll be leaving between next month and Halloween, though. Those on FB will know, though. I'll be giving folks vague updates on our progress. It'll be both a good and bad thing that it's due to be a short deployment: Cool that I'll be gone for less than a year, but also would really like that extra few months of deployment pays.

Any clue who all did business with Chico? Perhaps that person/those people could try to search for him on FB and get some sort of update that way.

Always remember and never forget...
Never drive through Austin during 5:00 rush hour on a Friday!
I'm just sayin' :-)

With a big a$$ UHaul fully loaded. With 9,000 pounds of cargo. And a full-body car trailer. With a car. Fully loaded. And a second car. Fully loaded. With kids. And another 6-7 hours until reaching final destination. Just north of Houston. f m l .

I made the mistake of hitting the belt going around ATL from the west side to I-16 during lunch. Fortunately was I still single and not totally loaded down. I only went through ATL during the day one other time, and that was of no choice of mine: an NCO of mine asked me to go pick up a fellow Soldier who was coming back off of leave.

atl traffic isnt TOO bad. I thought chicago drivers were bad, but DFW drivers take the cake on anything bad when it comes to driving…wow….
