Howdy all!

Howdy all! - 05/02/13 08:11 AM

I really need to stop going on deployments. Every time I do, this board dies just a little bit more. I'll be back in the States within the next few days. Yeah, both cars have some work to get done, so I'll certainly have my share of wrenching to do when I arrive, but I am certainly looking forward to working on my girls and hanging out here a little more often.

Welcome back.
I frequent this form less than you frequent the middle east.
I see does everyone else.
For the past two years I just drive the car and maintain it enough to get me from A to B.
However, I plan to hold on to it.
I want to restore it back to the days I first got it.
And keep it a bad @$$ sleeper.

lol, that's about my same plans for mine. I MIGHT do a GT1 cam and ER rockers...maybe. I SO gotta learn how to tune, but otherwise she's a good and solid 200,000 miles. Granted, it took me the better part of a month's worth of wrenching to fix the last 8 months of driving without maintenance.

Good to hear from you, Steve.

yeah, it has been. how you been, Mike? Have you figured out when and how much fuel and timing to add and take away? I know how to use my DHP GUI. It's the other s* that confuses me, and I can't seem to get straight answers out of folks. What's news on the Goat?

Yo everyone! Still kickin indeed.

Hows the HP Tuner work? Have you used power tuner? I have a DHP power tuner but it has zero support anymore and I'm afraid of it dying. No GP anymore but I still have the L67/mazda rx-7 project going...

get in touch with ifitwasnt4u. he has a HPT that he uses on his Goat. I'm still running on DHP...kinda. I haven't the foggiest of wtf I'm supposed to be doing. I know how to change values and get those changes to the car, but that's about the extent of it.

Come on Rick... You'll be fine with it. You just have to get over your fear of breaking it. :P

That's what a spare PCM is for. wink
