Got a 4 day weekend coming up so I'm gonna try and do some major work on the engine to get it running great for winter. These are things I'm planning on doing with some questions:

-Replace LIM Gasket (Upgraded Aluminum)
-Replace Coolant Elbows
-Replace Thermostat (Any suggested manufacturers for stock 195 degree?)
-Replace Thermostat Gasket
-Replace ECT Sensor
-Replace Rear Valve Cover Gasket
-Wires (OEM)
-Plugs (Stock again?)
-Clean Throttle Body
-Replace Throttle Body gasket? (Is it necessary?)

Should I replace the UIM gasket too? Is there anything else worth doing while I'm in there?

UIM should be fine. I wouldnt worry about it.

You can leave the TB attached to the UIM so you dont even have to worry about the gasket between the two.

Thanks for the offer Zerg, I'll let you know.

If I do separate the UIM and the TB will I need to replace the gasket or is it reusable.

Anyone notice anything else that I should be doing while I've got it down?

If you seperate the TB and UIM, yes you will need a new gasket. The stock one isn't reuseable.

Haha yea I already tried to talk myself into that...

"You know while you're putting those new LIM gaskets in you might as well change it out to an L67 LIM and bolt an M90 on..."

I'm sorry to report that I lost that battle.

I know I will. The worst part about it is that I can afford to do it but I know that I'll need the money for college more and the car will just be sitting at the house next year anyways or my brother will be driving it so it's not really worth it.
