I get lot of people walking to my car at parking lot to ask me "nice car", "nice ride", point at my car and thumb up since I'm deaf, and whatever. I know my car is sexy but I'm not trying make my car like attention "w". I know people is nice but telling me same thing like 50 times is getting annoyed.

Is I'm only one have that problem or do you get that from other people for your ride?

I'm afraid about 2009 project will get me like 1,000+ people to ask me for repeat again

My 2009 project will be roof rail, limited edition fog light, remove the door ding molding, install the lower door molding & side skirt, 18" wheel, and sd front air dam.

lol I know my car is nice. I never thought that my car will get lot of attention. I mean it is crazy. In 2004 to March 2008, I get none by people.

All sudden, it is change lot. People walking to me like parking lot, gas station (fill her up) and traffic light stop (sometimes people trying talk to me but I have tint window that I act like I didn't see them )

Last night, I went to Little Caesars pizza. There is one mom and 2 boys (look like 8 & 10 years old). The boys were trying talk to me about my summer car. I told them sorry I'm deaf. His mother is sorry to me. I told her that's okay. No problem. The boys walking around my summer car. I just like please don't touch it. I'm very anal about that but that's good that they didn't touch it. After get pizza, I sit my car and start it. The boys cover their ears about my exhaust is getting loud. While during back up from parking space. I mean this boys really dig my car. I decide gas it hard to make loud exhaust. The boys are really enjoying that. I'm sure in future that they will get cool car like us.

Hmm Ive seen a few imports (Mainly Honduhs and tegs) that have a mini boots on there wheels.

I know a few people who remove fuses. There are some pretty sick alarms out there too.

I vote for the alarm with keyless entry and remote start. Oh and the beeper that alerts you when the alarm goes off. Yeah.

I know I say my friend a lot but ya I know loads of people anyways he has an alarm that shows when someone comes within 2ft and when someone breaks in or tries to. Pretty nasty! He also is a vendor for those and the ones that cut off the connection so no one can start your car when they break in. Only you can re-activate it.

I live in apt. We have over 20 same buildings. I think I will be fine. Everyone have cool cars like firebird, mustang, some ricer cars, and more nice cars around this parking lot.

My car do have pass key code. I don't think it will work if they try hot wire my car?

My local guy give me all 20 metal locking lug nut as free that I brought 18" wheel. They are round. I don't know if thief will have hard time to steal that wheel. My car always park on curb all the time. It will be hard for them to jack my car up.

I thank them lot really. I have no idea how many times they came to me. It is feel like 100 times last year. This year, it is few times but I'm not driving this car during winter season.

Well, I have been working my job since 2001. I never got LATE. I always show up on time. I usually came like 20-25 minutes early to avoid any traffic.

I'm really polite to them. They didn't know I'm deaf. I wrote the note like I have to go work pretty soon. I'm sorry but thank for telling me about my car. Mostly, people own different cars like Honda, Toyota, Lexus, and other brand. If it is other Pontiac Grand Prix then maybe I will be late for work first time since 2001.

I do have "free" business cards but they are all blank since someone hack my bank account to buy blank business card but they arrived to my apt few weeks ago. Maybe I will create that card like this sites name if they are interesting about this grand prix stuffs or my email either.

Take the compliment, give the dude your email address and excuse yourself. That route takes all of about 3-4 minutes. Add another 1-2 minutes to explain that you are indeed deaf. That means, in the time it takes for me to smoke a cigarette, you closed out your conversation, ended on a positive note, and gave the person a way to get ahold of you later.

Thanks. If I'm hearing person then I'm pretty sure I can answer/talk to them easy. I know you are all hearing person. If they want to talk and I have to go to my glovebox for get note pad and pen for "talk". Hearing and deaf talk sometimes is hard to understand each other.

I'm not trying to get attention about 3-4 weeks. It is about different background like foggy, heavy rain (car on flood water), fall, parking garage or whatever. It is not like I'm bragging about that. I thought "background" look awesome. I guess it doesn't matter that I don't need show it again since you are tired of them.
