Is there a pcm difference between the cars. The reason I ask, a while bach hepertech offered a programer that they claimed worked on all 3800 powered gm vehicles. When I called hypertec about it the said the programmer would not work with Pontiac PCM's. Can anyone clear this up?

Why did I buy a Grand Prix 2003 GT instead of an Impala or Monte Carlo? Looks for one thing. As others have said already the Impala and Monte are boring looking cars compared to the sleek and sexy lines of a Grand Prix. Also the interior of a Grand Prix for me has room and comfort. My dad has a 2003 Black Monte Carlo SS and I have drivin it a few times and it dont seem to have that smooth driving feel to it like my Grand Prix does and it dont seem to handle as well. The bottom line is I just dont like it. My GT gets more looks then my dads car and he dont seem to like that but what can you do? As for the Impala? I never have liked it. The looks alone of the car turn me off. I have always wanted a Pontiac Grand Prix and when I bought mine I was and still am happy as hell I did it and have never regretted it.

I love the this car since the day they came out with the 97-03 body style. I had to buy a car when my F.O.R.D( Found on Roadside Dead) Taurus quit I had to buy a car. And when I seen it I knew I had to have it.

i got stuck between a rock and a hard place...my last p.o.s died on me after three months(honda prelude)I got tired of imports and wanted another GM product...wanted something quick that got reasonable mileage on the account of college(i drive 60+ miles round trip)and then i found my gtp...i hate red...but it was a heck of a deal (6,800 out the door with 57,000 miles)and it HAD to be a two door...i found plenty of cheap GP GT four doors but said noooooooo...i love my car...

I always call Monte Carlos on the road cock riders cuase thats what they look like I think. Impalas lost it after about 1975 in my opinion back when they were pushers. GP's have a lot more style always have. Even the mid to early 90s ones looked better then the cock riders of todays market. Dont get me stared on Cobalts. Thumbs down POS.
