What year GP, in your opinion is the most reliable? That includes motor and tranny life(Knowing that the trannys are the weak points)and all the little things that happen to go wrong with most all of them.

I'd say don't get a 97 or an 03, with my experience they tend to be the oddballs and have little things that are different about them. other than that, they are pretty much the same.

I would say the 2003. I have had no trouble at all with mine, none and 2 of my freinds also have 03's and they say they are the best cars they have owned.

Looks like anything from '00 on is good.

I dont think the year really matters. GPs are pretty solid cars. Before you buy, make sure to give the car a thorough inspection.

Yep anyone of them are fine. They are all old enough to have the "usual" quirky problems already fixed. So...

they are practically the same thing..

but the 98's are better than anything...ever!

edit: just looked at that chart..thats stupid. $462 for a new cat. converter. A lot of that crap is BS

I like the 97-98 but people say they have the most problems those two years but I have a 02 and its pretty reliable.

My uncle always tell me don't ever buy the first model year of a car. But thats a comment coming from a man that loves ford trucks. laugh
