I wanna put on 2 flowmaster 40 series on my 02 gtp.
I was hoping someone could tell me what sizes i would need to buy.

Also: how much is a u-bend delete? Does it still keep the 02 sensor if you get one?

thanks!

Ok here's the deal.

You need offset in center out.

Unfortunately flowmaster doesnt make a direct bolt in for our cars. So that being said.
If you are going to use stock tips just get the 2.5 in and out. You will need to use reducers to mount to your stock piping. Iirc even the 2.25 in will still require a reducer. So choose your poison.

But if I were you I'd pay the extra cash and just get the whole DP with cat. Ubend delete is already incorporated and it's a bolt on you can do in your drive way. Little more pricey but much better gains in the long run.

As for a Ubend delete. You can buy one from PFYC and have it installed (gonna need welding)So your looking at roughly $80. It does retain the O2 sensor. However since you'll have to take the car in have the ubend cut out and the delete welded in you might as well just have them make the delete. Some people have had custom ones made and installed for $35-$70. Best to shop around and keep this in mind most of your chain stores like Midas, Mineke etc will not touch it cause they claim it's tampering with the catalytic converter. So your best bet is to use a locally owned exhaust shop.

Ahh come on like the sound at idle but over a couple thousand rpms doesn't sound all that good. But hey it's not a V8.

Will the 2.25 in/out be able to bolt/weld with stock tips?

Also how much would a DP with catback cost roughly?
What are the main gains?

I have FM 40's. They do get pretty loud though, there is droning. Remember 45 mph is your best friend. But it does sound real nice. At least to me.

Magnaflows I believe will sound a bit tamer than the flowmaster 40s which a pretty stout bark...I went with Summit Racing fully welded muffs...still a chambered design muffler made from heavy gauge aluminized steel at a bargain price of $37.95

just stay away from any kind of straight thru design...those are not only loud but interior resonance will be buzzing the window glass...also plan on keeping you factory resonator in place...it is not at all restrictive and a great interior drone controller.
