Hey whats up guys...

I was just wondering what tires I should get for the wheels that I will most likely be purchasing. They are the Black AFS Mustang Bullit wheels. They are 17 x 9 and I was thinking that a 245/45-17 will work. Can anyone confirm this? And should a 45 be good enough to handle pot holes and what not.

Thanks in advance guys

245/45-17 is what I would get.
Expecting pics as soon as they're mounted.

I have 245/35/17's and they work just fine with pot holes. My car is lowered though so I'm pretty sure I'm gonna have to stick with 35's unless I go back to a normal ride height.

Question:

What kind of calibration to the speedometer has to be done when changing wheels/tires? I am planning on 245/45/18" from a 225/60/16" stock

Revolutions per mile
225/60/16 = 757.35
245/45/18 = 755.90

Nearly even.

Yeah, 245-45/R17 is exactly what I've got... no probs with rubbing, or potholes, anything of the like. Go for it, can't wait to see pics!

Why 35s? How much do you have lowered cuz on a 20 lowered you only run a 30?

What's the widest rim we can fit? 9" is pretty big...wide I mean, don't want anything out of context.

9 inch is the widest we can use and 245 is the max tire width...245/45/18 is actually a "plus two" size for our cars so no recalibration should be required...245/45/18 is the size I am going with when my chrome Bullitts arrive.

Thanks guys, The only reason I haven't posted a bunch of pics yet is because the back bumper actually isnt painted yet. At the angle of my sig, you can't really tell. I'm waiting for paint, new exhaust and bumper fill kit to put pics in the GPN Photo album. Hopefully it'll look pretty good when I'm all done!

OH yeah, Kev, if you want some laughs check out my before and after pics post in the everything else forum! cheers
