Hey guys, I finally got the time to install my DP version 2.5 with hi-flow cat and u-bend delete. Even though I had it on a lift (brought the car back to my old school to do it there) and used my 2ft. ratchet, I still managed to break one of the two bolts I had previously had issues with when trying to remove them in my driveway. Anyway, I used a torch to heat the flange and used pliers to remove the broken bolt while not harming the threads. Install from there was a cinch. As for the difference, well let me just say it was worth the wait. There's a notable change in throttle response as well as a throaty growl when accelerating from a stop which I didn't expect but came to like. Jimmy C does awesome work and I hope that anyone who doesn't have any exhaust work done yet decides on getting one of Jimmy C's! thumbsup

Surprised you didn't mention the weight difference between it and a stocker. I got the one without a cat, but the weight of the stock DP makes baby jeebus cry.

Didn't notice a difference in the weight. They felt the same to me actually.

I got my Jimmy C on order. He said it would probably be about 3 weeks before I see it. Do you think I should take it to a shop and have it installed? All I have is a set of ramps and the typical garage mechanic tools.

Which version did you order? Does it need to be welded in?

I got the gen 2 version. no cat, just bolt on and go but it sounds like the bolts are a beyotch to get off.

True, but if you can remove those two you're golden. The two nuts that connect the pipe to the manifold come off with little trouble and the O2 sensor gave no problems either (I removed it after I removed the DP from the car). Soak the crap out of the bolts with PB Blaster and with some luck you'll free them up. Good luck.
