So two wires from 87, one go top green, other go bottom yellow (lumination). correct?

Correct, but the switch has four locations, not three. I just want to make sure before I blow something up! lol
I guess the yellow side needs accessory wire to power lamp...

87 is the "input" but also a 2nd line (the 18 gauge) goes to the illumination of the switch.

reason for this is so your push button switch "illumination" won't come on until you turn the key in the ignition to the ON position.

the reason the switch has 4 positions is because the bulb is separate from the switch's terminals.

So I'll have two wires from 87 going to ignition part of switch, and the other to the yellow illumination part of switch. I believe this is what you are saying.

Here is a custom diagram for you! you will probably have to do a 2nd splice, I doubt 3 wires will fit in 1 10-12 gauge connector.

Just have to wire into orange wire and hook up the yellow to 30 and 87A
