So i have a sad story about the GTP, nothing motor, nothing body, but the rims were hurt. i curbed it frown , i was going around this turn and usually it never has gravel or anything on it, well me not noticing gravel, i punched it because i seen this Z28 up ahead. well i lost controll, and hit the curb at 45mphish, cracked both passenger side rims, and blew out the tires, a big chunk flew off the rear rim, its lost somewhere on 36th street. so as of now im looking for new rims, kinda looking at hyperblack rims, i want some black ones to set off the car. just make it look hot, so if you guys have any ideas for some sweet, but light rims let me know. i will have pics up of the trashed rims asap, they are currently at my uncles right now so when i head over there ill snap some pics of the rims.

Don't you have another set of rims? I thought I heard you mention something about you have a extra set of rims, I might be wrong though.

i have another set of 20's but im selling them because i dont want them anymore, plus they dont have tires on them. i want another set of 18's, some nice black ones, that are somewhat lightweight, with the same Nitto tires i had.

Very lucky it was only your rims. I managed to roll an '89 Buick LeSabre when I hit a curb at approximately that speed.

Glad you're ok though.

I always say to keep it on the track fo a reason. There's a good one right there.

As for new rims, I'm always going to be partial to TQ stars. I like stockers and they are LIGHT to boot.

xXLankyXx bought a set of those GXP rims, 17's I think. They look sexy on his car but MAN are they heavier than my rims.

if you want lightweight stay away from any of the mustang wheels...my bullitts are heavy wheels. If you have the change you can grab some nice Centerlines or Weld wheels...those are about as light as they come.

I think mine weighed 50-55Lbs with tires, while my Hi-Po Torque Stars weighed 35Lbs with tires.
It's been about 2 1/2 years since I weighed them.

Similar rims to Chico's, just like 10 lug instead of 5, and some other details.
