whats a good wax to use? polish? what should i use for the rims? leather? glass?

....and is there any stuff that anyone has had bad experiences with?

A good wax is meguiars NXT wax paste and car wash,it does wonders with scratches and keeps the paint shiny and won't get dirty so fast, its a little expensive but its worth it to me. Far as for glass I use turtle wax proffesional glass cleaner which is good also.

I use turtle wax platmun series, works very well in my opinion, and I for any touch ups after a wash I'll use Meguiars spray detailer. For my rims I usuallyuse turtle waz polishing compound or platnum series. For leather I use Meguiars leather cleaner/conditioner. As far as windows go, I use good old windex.

stoner's invisible glass and meguiars everything.

Meguiars NXT Gen wax - definitely a great product. It leaves a nice shine and does seem to last quite a long time.

For windows I use Eagle One "20/20 PerfectVision" glass cleaner. By far the best glass cleaner I've used.

Pretty much everything else is Meguiars.

Meguire's everything BUT the window cleaner. I use a spray cleaner that Safelite uses (Safelite is a window dealer/vendor/RPLCMT service/mfr for those who haven't heard of them). Best quality on that window stuff: no ammonia to cause discoloration or loss of adhesion to our tinting. USE THE CLAY BAR! Trust me, you'll dig the results.
