I have a buddy with a supercharged Aurora and he just throws the same oil in the supercharger as he does with the engine, 10W-30 Synthetic.

A lot of superchargers use the engine oil for cooling and lubrication, so it is not some extremely special oil. The advantage of the Eaton is that it is contained and the dirty engine oil does not introduce particles into the nose drive. I would be careful when messing around with lubrication and heat dissapation of the S/C. Remember that it operates at much !!higher RPM and due to such high particle wear there must be a reason why Eaton designed this particular oil.
