Might be alright for the track, but I wouldn't ride with it like that on a daily basis. Same with the GTO spring blockers. The ride will be horrific.

it isnt for looks. Of course it doesnt look that good. It is for track use only, the ride is horrible. The strut is pretty much cabled to the frame of the car by drilling 3 holes. I will take more pics in the morning of how it is done.

ok, i got some pics from someone else, but this is the process. Materials- 6 feet of 3/16 wire cable. $.38 a foot at Home Depot A pack of 3/16 wire cable. Like $2? at Home Depot Jack Jackstand Tire Iron Jack the rear of the car up, remove wheel In front of you is the spring/strut Drill 3 holes into the car. Circled in the pic.  Feed the cable from behind the frame and up through the holes in the strut.  Cross the cables through the clamp.  Use an 11 socket and tighten the clamps down very tight. Replace wheel. Take off jack.

Very... The only thing I don't like about that is the side loading on the strut. Doesn't seem like it'd be a healthy thing for it.

It holds the strut down by pulling it down towards the inner fender. I'm still not comfortable with that set up.

i talked to matt m, who BTW has the TT GT running a 9.01. And he has yet to have anything break back there. Im not worried

For years, I wanted to know what a GP would look like lifted a bit in the back. Its not bad but it isn't as good as I though it would be.
I envision bigger meats in the back would make it look better.

Looks Ghetto! But it says 3 holes circled I see four. And in the third I don't see how that is doing the lifting. When I get back to the State of Florida, I am going to try and make something out of my stock trailing arms that will lift up the rear for the track.

When you jack up the car, the strut is coming down. When you take the jack off, the strut tries to go up, but the cable prevents it. Thus it won't let the strut compress.

yeah. you dont have to take the wheels off at all. just reach around the wheel/tire.
