I have never seen K&N on the cheep.
Prepare to drop alot for the cone, or buy a cheep one.

You get what you pay for.

I have a cheep Spectre and i highly doubt that a K&N would net me any more then 2 hp, if that.

You don't have "ram air". I would just do a google search for one.

and x2 on the lack of any so-called "ram air" effect, unless you've got a scoop coming out of the side of your front fender.

A Spectre filter 7" Isn't bad, Its just not oiled like K&N.

Those are typically 45 at AZ.

pretty much anywhere you go, the K&N conical filter that is 9" in length by 4" neck inner diameter (the 9x4) will run you about 45 USD

The nature of this injection system will negate any ram-air effect whatsoever. The AFR, MAP, MAF and others will bleed off any excess air, and the injectors will only add so much fuel to the AFR before you start running lean. Open up your intake and exhaust systems and call it a day.

For the GTs, you would want a new air intake, CAI seems to be the preferred system with only ancedotal benefits. The HV3 really helps the saound of the intake, and adds a few ponies up top. The exhaust mod should be a 3" downpipe with a high-flow cat to open up some initial torque and down-low horse. Unless you go with a wild mod, these engines might be able to achieve 200-250 whp. There are GTs that have been known to run 10s in the quarter, but those have been purpose built.

Good luck to ya!

I'm curious. Since it is for cone filter only instead "whole kit". Anyway, our cars have same air intake box. The hose was behind air intake box. That's where you put air cone in? If so I'm sure it will work on my SE model since we have same air intake box. Some other SE model use FWI but I would like to have cone on where air intake box is. I also have F1 hood scoop that go to air in too. I guess it is call ram air.

Your hood looks great, but doesn't provide any performance function.

Umm.. I'm looking for air cone that stick into my factory hose. Not build custom one because I have metal factory hose that cannot remove it out. I just want to know what size of circle thing that go into my factory hose. I guess I will start shopping and find the measure at auto zone to fit my factory hose.

See this example of this guy's car. That's how mine will look like this.
