I don't think it's ricey but I know that I personally wouldn't do it. But I guess if you have a certain theme going that it could look good, it just all depends on the quality of the work.

if you cant find the cable to use on your camera, and if your camera has a removable memory card, you can get a card reader at wall mart for $9.99, thats what i had to do my old dino operating system didnt support my camera software.
And GTP Girl, that dash pic bout made me hurl

I only did the clear coat on the dash and its not "flashy" and it doesnt stick out like a soar thumb at all, it simply compliments my interior and with tint its kinda really dark in my car so it doesnt gloss as much as it would if light were to let in more. In other words it looks really good for me and ive gotten a few compliments already. I'll have to look at wal-mart for one of those memory card readers so i can get pics on here...thanks for the idea.

Looking forward to seeing the pics; never thought about clear coating the dash. Since I don't have graphite interior, if I were to upgrade the dash, I'd probably go the "Ultimate Dash" route, but in a wood grain, like the ones offered here: Classic Trim Water Transfer Might look good with some brushed stainless accents thrown in... wink

You realise how much that ultimate dash route is though? I couldn't imagine spending nearly 400 bucks on the dash and have it kinda look like a 5 dollar clear coat job...I mean the big carbon fiber gloss look just doesn't look good on our cars in the dash lol, at least thats my opinion. I'm glad I clear coated the graphite dash cuz it looks really good now and saved me $390. I cant complain.

Yes, I realize it's expensive(which is why I haven't done it, lol!), and I'm not a big fan of the carbon fiber look either. Truth be told, I'm sure my practical side would put the cash towards other mods or repairs... hammer

i dont think carbon fiber looks good either in the GP's it just seems out of place. but mine flows with my car, my car has a few silver accents, like the lettering kits oustide and my white guages inside really compliments my silver vents and my clar is black so i did my dash and center console black, and my shift boot is black. i love the look of it.

I painted mine a gloss black, along with my console top and window switch trim...since the outside is black I felt it made nice contrast and is relatively low key. At some point I plan to add some subtle red trim, such as black leather seating with red top stitching. I'm also leaning towards swapping my grey carpet for the darker graphite color.
