I am looking to upgrade my stock grand prix gt. I want to get the hp up over atleast 300 hp. What would be the best mods for the money?

300 horses... turbo. That would be very tough to do all motor. Start with the simple stuff like a CAI and exhaust work... then we can talk about getting you to 300 h.p.
Or just a 150 shot of nitrous!

I'd get with Chico and follow his instructions.

You need to clarify your question, are you looking for 300whp or chp? First let me say you are starting with 200chp and have about 160whp so even to build a motor N/A that is 300chp is not easy, you will have to do internal engine work starting with a bump in compression ,this will mean milling your heads at least 30k and doing a complete port and polish job ,you will need to change cams add headers ect.and just let me say with just bolt ons you will not reach your target, unless you have built quite a few performance engines and can do most of the work yourself be prepared to spend mucho denaro, but if your serious about this project I'd be glad to help you out and have many parts available,to give you an example of a factory built N/A 3.8 at 295chp maybe Bobby could find the link for the MC intimidator this will give you an idea of the engine build sheet.Chico.

Personally, I think you'd spend way to much money to get 300whp on a GT. I would be easier with a GTP. But, if you want, listen to Chico. Good luck!

If you want that much power you're best bet is supercharger or turbocharger. There are quite a few kits out now.
New M90 kit ~$1400-1700 New turbo kit ~$3000-4000 theres a few turbo setups. New CSC kit ~$3000
I just talked about CSC in another thread tonight.
PS, sorry for the million posts tonight! I had to catch up after getting back from vacation.
