I would check some junk yards. There was a complete s/c down at my local junkyard off a 96 riviera, in great shape for $200. You can try to find something in clubgp, but just giving you some help. I put my rotors into a ported blower and it grinded a little, but that went away once it seated right. I have a a snout and case together and I stuck in some rotors from my car and sold the case and snout that was on the car.

You should be able to pick up an M90 for under $200.
Also, if you get pieces/parts, make sure your snout is completed... they are no fun to have to assemble.

Jason Farnsworth who used to be on clubGP. He's the most knowledgeable guy I know of when it comes to M90's and I imagine he could tell you anything you need to know.

The GTP injectors are #33 but often referred to as #36 you will need to run these to run a 4" or smaller pulley ,the standard pulley used with the kit is a 4.2" and your gt injectors will support this size of pulley ,and FYI the SS kit with a ported blower GTP injectors and TB and a canned tune netted ZZP 250WHP &300WTQ .Chico(pops)

You can use the GT tb but after a point it will become a problem ,so start with a GTP TB and tune from there,as far as the fuel rails you would need the ZZP billet rails or you can modify a set of L-67 rails (not simple)it would require some cutting and a lot of minor bending to make them line up.Chico(pops)

The LIM and TB for 300 is a rip off. I got my entire top swap kit for 600, and honestly you should be able to find those two pieces for less than $100.

However, the M90 for $100 is a good price. As for the polishing... Jason Farnsworth is your man. Same guy whose email I gave you in my earlier post. It'll cost ya though, but they look amazing.

thats why i was wondering if i could do it my self .... or i might just paint it because i still think i can make it look good i think i might just cut my losses and do the ssm90 kit because yes it costs more but then i dont have to dig deep into the motor because since its my dd and i have no other transportation i cant affort not to have it

and drummer it was 300 for the LIM M90 and the L67 TB and the car had around 125K but i still think thats kinda high.

well, tell him that's illegal because the software is for his personal use only, and he can't legally "sell" you tuning services. he can provide them free of charge though... tell him that and see what he says :p

With HPTUners you can purchase a one car licence meaning your car or you can purchase a licence for the whole year which cost more credits. As soon as it reads the PCM it will tell him that he has to licence the vehicle if he has the one car licence. I have HPTuners for my T/A and have puchased the year option so that I can tune unlimited cars that are the same year as mine which is not illegal.

Just cruising the for sale section on CGP I found many cheap TB's for $50 or so ,I do'nt want to sway you one way or another but I would say with your apparent experience a top swap would require some experienced help, and yes Farnsworth does excellent polishing but as noted in an e-mail from him it can take him anywhere from 2 weeks to 3 months to deliver,if this is what you want I suggest you buy a spare SC and ship to him to have polished, good luck .Chico(pops)

That is why people opt for the ZZP kit tere off the shelf PCM seems to have the tuning down pat ,I ran there PCM for awhile before getting a custom dyno tune and it was working just fine ,another option is WBS they carry a top swap and a tuned DHP for the swap sooo go to town and get er dun.Chico(pops)

i just bought some stuff to polish steel/aluminum, pads, compound i figure i remember doing it before in my highschool jewlery class.... ( i took the class for 2 reasons 1. it was easy and 2. there were some FINE FINE LADYS IN THERE lol ) so i figure it shouldnt be 2 hard to polish some stuff so once my parts start coming for my supercharger setup then i can start to polish them

I know it's difficult when money's short but take your time buy what you can when you can and eventually it will all fall into place ,if it will help you out when and if you decide on the ZZP kit instead of a top swap I'll mod your SC and port it for free just shipping .Chico(pops)

lol at the the jewelry class.

But seriously, just do it right, take your time. I took about 8 months of piecing my top-swap together with everything i wanted. And looking back, i wish i waited a bit longer and did the XP cam with it instead of rockers

x2 on taking your time.

I'm doing that with my suspension upgrades. So much easier and better to do everything you want at the same time. It helps to not get impatient, because that's always a formula for regret.
