Time to shopping for new struts and lower spring for now. laugh

Okay my plan is...

Buy 2 front & 2 rear KYB AGX from performancepeddler website. I was told it is cheap to buy. It is only cost me $450.16 with free shipping for KYB AGX. Pretty good deal. ZZP wants $574.99 + shipping. W-body store wants $569.99 + shipping. eek I was told this site has clubgp code but I don't know what is code? Anyone know?

ZZP has free shipping on this Thursday and Friday coupon. I decide buy SSC lower springs, anti-polo washer and *maybe* F-body brake kit. I see ZZP has monroe struts mounts plate but I remember correct that some people hate monroe because it is crap? Still undecide if I want to buy that or not.

There is link. There are actually 1 bad review on that product too.
https://www.zzperformance.com/grand_prix/products1.php?id=398&catid=138

Thanks,
palsut

SSC's are meant for stock struts to give you the maximum drop.

However AGX's + SSC's is a good combo!

You need new strut mounts your old ones will be toast. The ZZP ones are fine dude.

I guess I was thinking monroe struts was bad that people don't like it. I will give it a shot for strut mount plate. The Guz has it and it doesn't any problem.

Time to order away now. laugh

Oh yeah mine need new one sooooo badly. It has nasty super rusty struts. It is over 109,000 mileage & nearly 7 years old. That's why it is time to shopping for struts & springs now.

You will need to change out your front mounts, I'd suggest using KYB mounts. Your rear mounts should be fine, no need to change those.
Don't go cheap or this will be your result...

I already brought Monroe struts plate from zzp site around 1am.

Bobby, is that same Monroe product that you got mess up?

KYB AGX struts is on hold because I have 2... yes that's right.... 2 SSC lowering spring on my order. I don't know how hell it happened. It was shown once as I checked but I don't understand how it got twice? Possible ZZP site error?

I try email customer service 15 minutes later after my order. Nothing so far but just got email that order is getting processing. Again, I email to owner from clubgp site for hope of extra product refund. I would be pissed if he says "too late". I know it has poor customer service response but I hope they will solve my problem soon as possible before it is shipped. If I'm stuck with 2 SSC lowering spring then I probably will sell it on local area or gp meeting either.

Just got xmas bonus. So I already ordered KYB AGX struts. laugh

ZZP fixed the problem "double" order yesterday but still haven't got refund back which I know it will be on Monday as normal business day. Just glad they fixed the problem before they shipped it out.

SSC lowering spring will be in my door on Monday. Not sure when KYB AGX struts will be there since I just ordered them today. It says 7 to 10 business day. Probably in end week of December.

I hope weather is getting warm so I can take her out of garage to ride around. It was 30+ miles away from me and park it in garage on cover for few weeks on my mom's new house. frown

Chico: I'm sure I will love it. They will finally shut up about "LOWER IT!!" after I installed my new 18" wheel in early 2009. lol What is LCA?

Thank Bobby... Sound serious mess up for happen again 2nd times. Did it damage on the hood?

Should I take it to pro like mida or any struts shop to install them? I have zero skill for that struts job.

The first time it happened was with my metal hood, no damage.
Second time was with the Fiberglas hood, only received minor scratches on the underside. As soon as I got home I placed a 2x4 piece of wood between the strut and hood to help protect the hood.
Any automotive shop can do this repair for you.

The KYB AGX struts arrived on Monday. laugh

Just buy a new springer compressor today. I'm ready to install them tomorrow.

I have a new question about anti-polo washer?

On top of struts mount or bottom of struts mount?

Thanks!

While I'm remove my front wheel tomorrow. I will take a look if I need to get new lower arm control. If need depend how bad rusty is. Any sugguestion what brand I should get? Any write up about that? I tried search but nothing mentioned it. Maybe blackarrow98gp will save other day again. laugh

The anti pogo washers are what sit on top of the strut assembly.

Here are some good threads to look at.
http://www.clubgp.com/newforum/tm.asp?m=...ode=&s=#4859035

These are good if you want to trim the bump stop a little.

I wish you all the best on this mod...and I hope you dont have the same problem with vibration that I did...my car hasnt been the same since. But I also think my biggest mistake was the KYB GR2 struts...way too stiff for liveable ride with lowering springs.

Palsut when I said LCA (lower control arm) this can become worn and cause vibration ,either replace the bushings or replace the whole unit ,and I think you said you had the GMMP handling kit? then you replaced the rear trailing arm I hope because this is a necessity IMHO .Chico(pops)

we have a 98 gtp and 99 gt. did kyb struts and mounts on gtp. stock springs. 110k miles. no difference in ride. have blizzak tires on it now and still seems way stiff. the 99 still has original struts and AS tires and seems to ride fine. not sloppy/mushy at all.

I decide to change title to palsut's car 2010 project because it is almost there instead make new thread. wink

Anyway let see....

ZZP control arm? $500?! Wow. Not sure if it is worth it. I checked mine and feel strong. Maybe I will take Chico's advice to replace bushings only. Maybe new stock lower arm control? See pictures in below...

Thunderbat: I hope it will go smooth. I know I read lot of struts thread to make sure what to use. If it is failed. Plan A for short dog bone or Plan B Vinnie's spacer (lift engine up little bit)

Thanks 01 GT. I will take lot of pictures how was project going on.

I took her to drive around on dry road after sitting for month. It is nice to drive but geez hate cold leather seat! lol

Today well NONE! Still can't get darn bolts out.

I spray lot of WD-40 on my both front struts and call it for day.

The struts right side nuts are off but bolts won't go out. I guess it was rusty bad inside or whatever reason why it won't go out. I guess I need buy heavy duty hammer to knock the bolt out tomorrow morning.

The struts left side nuts are stucked. Hopefully WD-40 will reach the rust so I can get it out tomorrow morning. If it is failed then I will rent air compressor with air gun to make job easy. I know 7 years and 110,000 is awful long time to stay there. I don't really want to take it to silly labor charge.

Before (left side)

Before (right side)

There are lot of goodies!

I just realize that SSC springs are different. 2 small and 2 little bit big. I believe 2 little bit big belong to rear right? I just guess because rear struts are bigger than front struts.

Lower Arm control

Old struts look... yuck. Can't wait for new one.

Got nuts out from right side but can't get it out

That's really strange bolts look. Wish it is mm bolts that would make my life easy for sure. I actually use 18mm wrench but no room to move because it was blocked by my rotor.

Thanks grandprixGTAlphine. I'm actually on vacation this week. wink I guess it is always good time to move back to my dad's apt again after 2 years and half in my own apt. I just move back with my dad in early December to take care of my dad as my 3 half-sisters want me be there because I'm close to him. They are from Indiana (around 3 hours), California and Georgia.

The Guz: just miss your post. Thanks for info. Never heard about bump stop. Not sure if I have it on my old struts. I guess I will take a look when I get that bolts out. I was little confused about struts mounts top and anti-polo washer. They look pretty same.

Corey is right Palsut, those bolts arent threaded in to strut, the threads are only for the nuts to go on. You may be able to place your floor jack under the ball joint and take some slight pressure off but just give then a good whack or two and they should slide right out.

All you need to do is hammer the bolts out as stated. Get a big enough hammer and knock them out. The strut plate on the top of the struts is where the anti pogo washer goes. It completes the strut and strut mount. AS far as the bump stop, that is optional. It gives the strut more travel when the strut is compressing. It's up to you if oyu want to do that.

Here is another thread on the anti pogo washers.

I think you should have a compressor to begin with for a job of that size.
You bought a spring compressor kit or do you mean you rented one?

It would be nice, but I did it without, so it is very possible. His car's up north, so it is probably going to be more difficult than my Florida car, but its entirely possible

Guz, that's really helpful to know where they are. Thanks again.

I actually got my both front struts out. laugh

Thanks for tip thunderbat. It was help when I use my floor jack to lift it up and slide it out. 1 of bolt was little dent because I beat hell out of them lol

Guess maybe time to order new bolts and nuts for all of them. 7 years is pretty long time. I probably stop by gm dealership or order online (doubt that because they don't know what part #.)

The both rear struts nuts are removed but bolts still on it. I guess use trailing arm where to lift it to knock the bolts out? I plan to use that later because I want to finish front first. I was trying get nuts off if I need air comprosser but look like I don't need it. That's big plus. I have air comprosser but it is 125 pressure & 1 gallon. It won't strong enough for air gun.

Pictures will be coming soon when I get home. I'm still at my mom house.

Alright. I have a little problem. I can't get nut out of top strut mount. I mean it is really rusty THAT BAD than struts bolts & nuts. I try pull around but strut mounts keep spinning around. Do you think I should put them back (yeah I know lot of work to get that darn thing out lol ) so I add 3 small nuts on top strut mounts where car frame is. Hopefully, I try get that nut out. I was trying to get rubber thing on strut plate & big long rubber thing to block the derbis.

Don't bother ordering new bolts. Waste of money. Just throw them back in. If they have mushroomed on the top, grind them back down.

As for your other problem (If I understand correctly) you have to put an allen key on the inside of the threaded piece when you put a wrench on the top nut.

Yeah, it has mushroom top but I don't have any grind tool.

Remove them

See nasty rusty nut. I actually put them back to my car where 3 nuts hold on car frame. It was very bad thread. I guess I will give allen key a shot. If it doesn't work. Maybe use metal saw all way to cut strut mount to get that rubber thing around strut plate and rubber boot? Of course, I will use spring compressor so it won't shot out somewhere lol

Anyone know what is this call? It was hold small piece to strut & rear sway bar. This one is broken. It has damage bolt thread during rust again. I got left side out but right side still not working.

Lot of work to do later. At least it is slow project so I'm not that hurry.

about SSC lower spring. I never realize that they are different.

Let me guess the small top of picture is front only. The big on bottom of picture is for rear only. Do I got it right?

Thanks for all your great help. It does help lot.

Happy New Year! wink

those things are sway bar links. if ur replaceing them use needle nose vice grips and a air gun and zip it off. doing it by hand may be impossible.

happy new year

Thank for name of parts. I'm actually thinking get new one for that. I'm not worry about old sway bar links. I have a new GMPP rear sway bar. As you can see this sway link bolt is rusty pretty good. The tread was torn off. All it was spinning around that it doesn't go anywhere. I know what you mean about other nut behind it. I did that on left side got them out. I'm stuck with right side for now.

Now, I'm off to my mom's house to ready take that strut nut out. If not working then time metal saw to TORN THAT BABY DOWN! laugh lol

Today, it was very good work. I removed the both rear struts and rear sway bar out. Man, rear struts was sooooo bitch to get out. I hate the rear struts 3 nuts on trunk area. I have hard time to get nut out with my wrench in the small area. When my wrench lost the grip of nut. The wrench went flying out to my backseat and got my finger cut from speaker bolt. I just like kcuf! Thank god for 04-08 seat set. I went to my rear door and pop the rear seat down to get that wrench which it was buried under from trunk area. I'm not ready to install them back again. lol

Without sway bar & rear strut. Kind dull look.... I'm curious. Is fender inner supposed to be TUCK inside the frame (near the rear door) or it was normal like that? Just wondering because I got them from used junk yeard for put GT/P rear bumper. The body shop installed them for me 2 years ago.

Finally, they are out. laugh

Remove the rear sway bar out. It is actually very easy to get it. I guess that's good way to get that struts out first. If struts are that way then I'm pretty sure it will be tough to remove. I just like confused because they are look same. I just like hmmm it doesn't make sense to me. I keep stare them like minute. Then I pick the gmpp sway bar to move. Then I pick old sway bar. I just like wait a minute. I lift old sway bar. They are very light. I lift GMPP sway bar. They are heavy. Now, I can see why they are different lol

That's how poor car sit look like. frown

Man, I owe it to my mom. If she doesn't have that house then I will be frozen to death for working outside for sure. Garage is not that bad. Just a little cold than outside and I use heater too..

yeah, those mudshields are supposed to tuck into the body panel. Unbolt them and fold them back into place. they're pretty flimsy for as thick as they are. retorque the mudshields back to tool snug. the retainers on the back side cant take much torque at all. Dont ask me how I know.

Thats some good work. Slick was able to get his monkey arms all the way back to my trunk strut mounts with the car on stands while standing next to the wheel well. when it came time to button everything back up, I crawled into the trunk and handled business that way. Shoulda seen the incredulous look on John's face. Then, on the other side, I showed him how my stubby lil T. Rex arms simply couldnt reach. Some times he takes for granted my 5'2" stature.

IIRC, the sway on the bottom in the next to last pic is for the rear.

Thanks Ricks.

lol that's funny. My finger still hurt after I slip the wrench. That was painful. I should wear glove but I was thinking it is not hurt since it was inside of the car during remove 3 nuts from rear struts. I was wrong. Next time I use repair gloves for sure.

Since I couldn't get the rusty nut out from old struts for get boot shield. I took old struts to car serivce company for get them out because I know air gun help. The car service company willing put new one together. I figure why not to save my time.

That's how they look right now.

One problem. They mess it up. They didn't put anti-polo washer on top. Just a monroe strut mounts. Guess they didn't listen me

My dad picked it up this afternoon. He doesn't know about anti-polo washers. I have to take it back and get it done tomorrow morning. They still have my anti-polo washers somewhere in their shop.

They look awesome. Can't wait install them this weekend. I hate week. Darn work lol

lol thank for correct it up. Now my turn. It is anti pogo WASHERS. Not wahsers. wink

I was worry if they throw away. This guy is clueless and decide put anti-pogo washers on their shop. Probably for his SE model lol. He has 1997 to 2000 "catfish" front bumper grand prix. They should call us and tell what is it for.

At least everything solved the problem under no charge.

There is current update picture with anti-pogo washers.

Saturday is too way long to wait lol

Get those on already. Your car will look good with the lowered look. You will also like the handling of it when you are all done.

I wish but my car is 30+ miles away from my apt. It is on my mom's new house for garage in winter season. I have a little bad snow storm yesterday and today. It will be other storm on Thursday & Friday. I can't take it out because I don't want this car get salty and plus I have summer tires.

Alright let get the project back to game. Watched too much football playoff games and including went to Colts stadium last weekend. laugh

First, I decide give the both rear fender liner a good clean from tar and dirty muddy. My react that I saw something under my car frame. I decide clean and wax them so hopefully, it won't rust worse like some gp do have rusty gas tank. Mine is not that bad since it is 2003 model.

Left rear quarter

Right rear quarter (worse than left)

unclean

clean & wax

Some of you are right. Rear struts are soooooooooooooooo freaking hard. Honestly, I feel like I want to throw that rear sturt behind garage window lol

Then I pager to my dad to come to my help. We both work together on my both rear struts installed. It was smooth as I can't do that myself like put nut on top which it is from inside trunk area.

Then I installed both front struts myself. I actually installed GMPP rear sway bar too.

I try to remove trailing arm but I don't have big tool. Higher tool is 21mm. This one is way bigger than 21mm. Might be 23mm or 24mm. That bolt where it hold the rear rotor.

4 struts down
1 GMPP rear sway bar down but didn't installed sway bar end link yet

2 more to go...
2 Trailing arms (need buy big socket tool)
1 GMPP front sway bar (been there and done that for my winter car from broken sway bar. I knew it will take me longer so I will hold that other time lol)

That's how she look for now.

Oh I accident broken the black top thing for "turn" like 1, 2, 3 and 4 for KYG AGX. I use 15MM wrench to turn for tight the nut. My wrench accident knock the black top thing out from metal strut. Is that broken? Hope not frown I can't find black thing. It is somewhere in my trunk that I need to clean it out to find black thing. For clear. It is not "button" that turn. It is small black thing INSIDE of struts for turn. I should take pictures to compare them. Maybe tomorrow.

I decide not to work on my car project today. I stay home and watch my favorite Colts to win today. laugh

There is best picture of this rear strut. See yellow arrow that I accident knock black thing out during tight the nut from my wrench.

Have everyone brought Autozone rear sway bar end link? I have trouble to find any tiny wrench to hold them.

See red arrow. That's sooo thin to hold them from spinning when I want to tight the nut on my rear strut. This is Autozone rear sway bar end link.

See purple arrow. That's big enough to allow my 15MM wrench to hold them for avoid spinning around for tight it. This is GM rear sway bar end link.

I can't find thin 16mm wrench to hold auto zone end link. Mostly, store have "fat" 16mm wrench. Any idea how to hold those thing? If no idea then I will refund both of them back and order GM end link. GM & Auto Zone are both same cost.

Try just going to a local garage and asking them to borrow it. Autozone also rents tools out, I don't know if they'd have it if they don't carry it though.

Autozone don't have flat tool. lol... I should gone to bike store for that. Too late. I already return them back yesterday morning. When I bring autozone sway bar end link. I explain to him that GM nut is bigger than autozone that I have trouble to find flat tool for that. He own nice 98+ Camaro with sweet rim. He says get GM sway bar end link better than autozone end sway bar link. This is crap. Nice... You work for Auto Zone and tell me this product is crap? Guess he might be GM person lol

I will ordered GM later. They are both same price which I'm okay with that.

I finally find small black piece where I accident hit my wrench from tight the nut. It is really broken but car seem drive fine during test driving today. I have no idea what # is that.

I got few sugguestion to get Moogs sway bar end link instead GM sway bar. Boy, they are sooo thick! Cost 26 buck each. Not bad!

Install clean rear liner and put "AGX" decal on strut.

We meet again. Not best picture but this car look little lower than my winter car.

Again not best pictures. It has been sunny all day. Hard to find best picture. If I took picture in shade area but hard to see for gap from car body to wheel.

I decide not install trailing arm & GMPP front sway bar. I put it on hold for other time. I mean.. look outside with mostly sunny day. Gotta take that baby to drive!!! laugh Next weekend is actually snow storm so why not drive it after 2 months of sitting.

I have a great day of driving. Well little bad day too. When I'm driving my car on road. I'm smiling and enjoying the driving. Then all sudden the raccoon decide want to commit suicide to my car. I have no way to avoid. Then I feel awful bumpy sound. I just like son of b... Maybe it is good thing? I mean I got new struts. Gotta test for new struts right? lol... bad joke I guess... Car is fine but this poor thing is dead.

The driving is pretty good and very smoothing. It is still shaking after 60 mph but that's not 1st time that it has happen. It has been doing that when I got 18" wheel last year. This tire shop try balance my wheel twice and told me it is balance fine as they test over and over. I guess I will find other tire shop to try get better balance and alignment too. My left front wheel is little bit way off.

Looks good. Give it a few days for the springs to settle. When you install the sway bar and the trailing arm you should paint the calipers. Car is looking good.

that looks real good palsut!

Also palsut, the vibration you are getting from your tires is the same vibration i get from my nexen n3000's. We both have the same tires and its just the way the tread pattern is. it has nothing to do wih the alignment or balance. its just the type of tire it is, because now with my stock rims on i dont have a vibration anymore.

The Guz: I'm planning to get F-body brake set up so I will have a new brake calipers instead my old rusty calipers.

Thank 01 GT. I guess I should buy g-force instead nexen n3000's lol... Maybe, I will put my stock wheel to test it out to make sure no vibration if I need engine spacer or short dog bone. It is weird that I don't get any vibration after 60 mph which it is usually from tire in past. I guess it might be different engine than 3800 usually cause vibration?

Good job so far except the wax on the inner fenderwells this will do nothing to deter further rust,a good alternative would be to spra- undercoat on the seams after cleaning up the rust a little with a scotch brite pad if U do'nt want to risk undercoat overspra- use automotive clear this will help seal the joints .Chico(pops)

Thank for tip Chico. If I storage my car in winter season so rust won't get worse right? I won't drive my car in snow season. It is sitting in garage where it belong until Spring.

BoostenGTP02: This picture was taken last Sunday January 31st. That's why I decide hold trailing arm & front sway bar to drive that car in sunny 40 temp day. I actually knew it will snow bad after check 10 days of weather site. Right now, I have around 6 inches but road already clear out. It will be nice to let snow melt and start driving again. Guess it won't happen in few weeks :-(

After super busy work. It took me month to wait for install them. Of course, it doesn't work out like I hope so. 1 hid work. Install other hid. The car lights went flicking all over.

There are some pictures.

projector vs. stock

Install them together until 2nd HID cause my car flicking worse because I believe I need relay.

I unplugged 2nd hid out. It is back working. Guess I can drive that car with 1 hid lol

Then I install stock with clear corner on my winter car as you can tell I need new headlight badly.

Got 2007 cloth seat set for winter car too. Should be there this week. Love those seat for soft and backseat folding so I can load large stuffs.

Looking good Palsut. Maybe it's time for some visual mods that will bring some color to the car?

Should go orange to match the projector reflectors:D + silver + orange sounds pretty nice.

Take those suggestions or leave them lol, your car looks great as is.

also how is the cutoff? The reason i ask is because i know some people had issues with a bad cuitoff with the new ones.

I don't like orange on the corner but nothing can I do about that. Almost all cars come with this I guess. I saw clubgp member have silver car with orange theme. Not bad looking but I really like black theme better.

I have no idea what is cutoff. I will pm you for info. I'm at someone's house so I don't have info with me. All I just plugged and install them. That's it. Love easy step by step lol But it is actually very deep worse than chrome corner projector. Black one is shaking VERY VERY BAD!!!! That's hell embarrassing to driving 30 miles with light went up and down all the times. Not sure if it is lousy stock projector light bulb or I didn't tight enough. Guess I have to look clubgp projector bounce mod thread later. I really like stock projector light. It doesn't bother me but since I brought HID already. I figure I will just put HID on it. Then I will head to dealership to change remote flashing thing because I can't "hear". Hope they will do that for me free.

When 18 wheels truck arrived to my mom's house. I just can't believe I saw 18 wheels truck! I thought it will be small delivery truck in resident area. My mom's street is VERY small and DEAD END. Poor guy have to turn the big truck for like 5 minutes. Few minutes later, more bad new. School bus is on way to drop kids after school hour. 18 wheel truck has go to my yarn to let bus go by. What a mess. I helped him to load the hood down from trailer. After I looked at the trailer. I just like wtf. Big trailer is empty but only 1 hood box? Wow. I thought it was funny for whole trouble thing in small street for big truck.

I got exciting like I got christmas gift. I rip the box off. My react just like "Oh no... I knew they (grand prix members) will saying you are coping of BoostenGTP because I have a black hood. lol

MPD F1 Hood

Full engine shot

Tuck the engine for good night sleep last night lol

My dad and I installed this hood today.

I have to say. Wow! Way much better. It makes job easy fast. No more hood touch my front bumper rubbing. Of course it is OEM frame which it is easy to close. Of course it will PAINT silver! laugh

Everyone is happy with MPD F1 hood. So I decide to take a bite and get this one instead old PYFC hood. It does look great. Wish I couldn buy that 2 years ago but at least I'm selling it. Got few buyers line up. As you can see I don't have grille yet but I will install new honeycomb grille to match upper & lower grille. You can see my old PFYC hood is on my car roof. It will gone soon when buyer will come and pick it up. Also, it has escape heat behind the hood near windshield that PYFC doesn't have that.

nice job patrick! ho muchy was it, if you dont mind me asking?

also when you get the chance, pull your car up to a white wall or a garage door 6 ft away with your lights on and snap a picture, that will tell me everything i am asking.

for the bounce, just take 2 wood shims and place them between the bumper support and the bumper cover (this will raise the bumper cover up a little to touch the projector but there will b no more bounce.

There is link for this. Same price and same seller that I brought last week.

I will do that if you are not that hurry on weekend for lawn work later. My car is 30 miles away from me. It is storage on garage right now at my mother's house.

Sound like work to me for wood shims. My pass side gap is getting bigger but it is way it was. My stock headlight, chrome projector and black projector are doing same thing like that. Guess they build the car too way off. frown

Also, my full red LED taillights is coming tomorrow. Of course it will tint. My winter tail got bad leaking with full of water. I seal it pretty good but I still got the leaking. Just got other dead bulb this morning. That's 5th bulbs so far. mad At least they are cheap to replace.

Why black with silver letter? Because I have custom black carpet with black letter that I installed last year.

Anyway as promise for BlownBigBlock (clubgp) for pictures. And thanks again wink

I also installed new LED tail today too. I got other one again after 1st set was bad that left taillight doesn't fit (black LED thing touch car frame) that I return it back. Hoping for 2nd try... Yep, I knew it is working as far.

It is just shadow cover the letter where the sun is top of my roof. The trunk lid just "cover" the letter which it is darker. It is just my camera. It is bright in person.

Rest of pictures

What do you think? I like it very much. Drilling was very very scary but I'm glad it went smooth so I don't mess it up this time. lol

(with camera flash)

I already order lloyd black trunk carpet cover to hide ugly tire spare cover. I thought about get silver grand prix like before picture. Since I already got grand prix letter on my trunk lid cover. So I'm going for arrowhead look.

More picture to follow when I get them. laugh

I also cleaning & detailing the engine yesterday for car show on June 13th. I love that look when I clean them. It give them shiny way worse than before. The bright cloudy with sun show my 4 polish caps like a mirror. Sweet!

I'm pretty happy with result with trunk carpet color. It take a time and lot of patient to spray them.

Thank guys.

It is Duplicolor High-Perf Vinyl & Fabric Coating.

I have a spare clean trunk area if this plan don't work as I was plan to replace my dirty trunk area as you can see some brown stains. I spray it over the brown stains so I don't see brown stains anymore. Pretty happy with this. I would have to see my car (at my mom's house garage) on Saturday to see how they are holding up.

I use 3 cans so far. That's left me 1 full new can. I haven't spray on backseat yet but not sure if I want to leave it alone. Guess I will see when it is bright as sunny to if it is notice or not.

If I use 1 can and it is make "light" look. So use more cans to make it dark look but not over spray. Kind like more coating to add.
