I replaced the regulator on my 97 2dr since the cable broke. the new motor was weak so I swapped in my original GM motor. worked a little better. makes me wonder if the glass was/is out of alignment. so the other day i notice when i raise the window fully, the top back corner of the glass is about 1/4" too high so the glass pops out of the track or actually overlaps the door frame. whats going on here? if i bump the switch to raise the glass and slowly tweak the window up, it has a nice seal along the frame. i mean the glass is not cockeyed or anything. what makes the window glass stop at the top of the lift? is it in the regulator itself?

I believe it's in the regulator it's self.
