Probably an Oxygen sensor. How long has it been since the car was tuned up (plugs, wires, etc)? Get a code reader and see what codes were set by the computer and that will tell you what is going on. This is just basic advice, sorry for the lack of detail. laugh

You might want to check and make sure none of the plugs were damaged during their install. An intermitant light and stubbling during acceleration sounds like your missing a lot. Does the computer maintain a history file of codes and misfire data (might be an OBDII thing)? If so, check them out and see what you find.

Miles? Do you have any loud noises under the hood? I've seen a car do exactly what you have listed and it ended up being a cracked exaust mainifold.

no! no noises.. the car has 151,000 miles and it idle
smoth. the check gages comes on and stays on or goes off.. and when i press the accelarator it hesitates
(misses) but not all the time, all off the other time
runs fine. i try taking the codes out but there are
none..
