Its official, my 2003 grand prix has gone 100k miles and NEVER broken down. So far my garage kept car has: - Had the front and rear pads replaced twice. Rotors replaced once. - Had the spark plugs changed at 75k - Had oil changes every 2500 - 3000 miles. Valvoline 10w-30 and ACDelco OEM filters - Had the front rotors replaced at 90k - Gone through three batteries (more than likely due to my audio system) but still have the OEM alternator. Other than that, no other engine work has been needed. 3800 Engines FOR THE WIN!!!!!   On a sadder note, I'm preparing to revamp the audio system and sell her before things start breaking =(

my biggest falure was an igniton coil starting to fail so i get msd's now

omg If I make it to 170k I will be so happy, but I doubt I would be so lucky, I'm a little hard on things with 4 wheels.

im at 88k and the only big issues ive had is that im on my 4th trans and ive owned it since 48k...haha but im like you i tend to get a little rough on her..

I'm also at 170k, needs a trans but engine is still fine.

That's not bad. Mine is 107K. My old 1997 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme have 250K. It is still running somewhere that I sold it last year.
I know some grand prix can go over 200K or 300K. It is good to know so I can keep my car forever.
I still have stock engine and tranmission. I always driving with care.
