I went to the Ubly dragway (up in the tip of the thumb, in Michigan) today, first time at the track.

My first run was a 14.95, the rest were all above 15, 15.05 etc. I mostly started in second gear, brake torque to 2000-2500rpm. Not sure if that was the best, I only did about 6 runs.

Funny how my first time ever I get my best time of the day.

Just wondering if that's ok, I have a 3.4 pulley and an open cone, what are others getting with similar mods?

By the way, I forgot to mention, it was pretty hot, 80-85 I think, probably slowed me down a bit.

I pretty much have the same setup and am running pretty consistent 14.3's with removed headlight and lowered tire pressure.

Yuck. Well it was really hot, and my first time out. Next time I'll have to remove the headlight and maybe work on a CAI.

Good to know I've got lots of room for improvement.
