I know it's probably a little late but I haven't had the chance to do anything to my car to get it ready for winter yet. I was just wondering what things you guys think that must be done to winterize your car.

I was thinking, top of oil, tranny oil, whiper fluid, and I'm not really sure what else. Maybe a coolant flush?

I haven't put any tranny oil in the car since I got it, want do you guys recommend for oil?

id do an oil change, maybe to a 5w30 depending on how far north you get, get good washer fluid, depends on when the last flush was, and for the tranny fluid, first check the color of you trans fluid in there now or when was the trans last serviced

Make sure you have a scraper, snow brush, and jumper cables. Not only for your car, but you never know when you will see a little old lady who needs help. Better yet, the hottie in a tight sweater who needs a jump, start that is.

I also carry gloves, hat and wind breaker. Again, just in case I am out and get a flat, accident or the car just dies.

5w-30 oil, clean your battery posts. check your coolant freezing protection and fill your washer bottle with some good stuff, not the cheap 99 cent blue crap.
