Ok. I Am not new to forced induction at all. I have a 450 hp ealge talon sitting at home.

Well I just bought a 1997 Oldsmobile LSS. I have known about the 3800 series II S/C for a long time. I have been a big fan of the grand prix's and LSS's. Well my questions are being that I have an oldsmobile, can I use all of the things that I am finding out here for these cars.

Mainly electronic equipment. Like the PCM's and things of thast nature. I know the pulleys, belts and other bolt on will work.

Are there any other forums out there for these cars/engines. I have been searching and haven't found anything as big or near to this site. I just want as many sources and options as possible. I have to know everything.

Steve

Steve, I'm pretty sure with the PCM's you have to order a specific one for your car, but they would still come from the same companies that the ones for GP's would. Also, you might find a little but more help on either 3800tech or clubgp, both these forums have several members with the LSS's and other vehicles with the L67 that might be able to answer your car specific questions a little better, either, great to have you in the 3800 community, welcome aboard.

Also, One of my buddies has a black 95 talon that he just swapped a 6 bolt into, he's got a T28 on there now with countless other mods and plans on going up to a Big16G this winter, just noticed that you owned one and wondered what kind of toys were on it, I'm guessing your intercooled to be making 450hp, whats your setup???

My talon has
9:1 JE custom order pistons
Crower rods
Lots of machine work
.020" over
Knife edged/balanced crankshaft
No balance shafts
Seriously ported head
broze valve guides
Crower spings and retainers
720cc injectors(123% duty cycle)
Mazda 20B intank fuel pump(320lph)
SX fuel pressure regulator
60-1 turbo(60-1 compressor/Garrett T31 exhuast wheel)
Spearco 2-216 intercooler(28x10.5x3.5 core)
Tial BOV
3" turbo back exhuast
Stock 1G intake manifold
Stock 1G exhuast manifold
Stock 1G cams
Stock 1G o2 housing
9.2:1 A/F ratio(couldn't go any leaner)
should have been 12:1
HKS VPC/GCC fuel setup

Some more breathing or less fuel and 550+hp would have been no problem. I just maxed out what I had. I needed money so I had to sell it. This was on a rich tune and a lot of stock stuff. Couldn't spool turbo well because of big ports in head and stock cams. Couldn't hold boost as well because of stock manifolds and o2 housing. Injectors were to small.
Stock ECU controlling all of this. Stock timing as well. Stock ignition.
