I just received my Jimmy C D/P v 2.5 today. It's the second gen. with the dual braided flex joint that will not whistle and the high flow cat with u-bend delete. Jimmy does great work and doing business with him was a pleasure. I can't wait to install it, hopefully tomorrow afternoon, even though it will be brutally cold! It will be a perfect compliment to my DHP PCM and CAI.

Nice! I really really really want one of those. Just a little too expensive for me right now. But that is my next mod.

I've really been kicking around the idea of getting one of these. Glad to hear you like it. Please update us after it's installed.
Erik..... You don't need a live band..... wink

You'll love the DP.

Sorry to inform that I wasn't able to install the DP today. I encountered major difficulties removing the bolts after the cat. They would not move regardless of the amount of penetrant I used. The O2 sensor is giving me the same problem. However, I will be renting a compressor for my Ingersol Rand impact gun on Friday to make short work of those bolts!

I don't know about these cars, but I've had a few collector flange bolts break in half trying to get them loose. I don't think an impact wrench would do that, you may find yourself getting them off the old fashioned way(with a breaker bar) even after renting a compressor.

I.R. rules!

Crimptons right though, a breaker bar's torque can sometimes do stuff impacts can't.
You may end up cutting and drilling the bolts out!
Don't damage the O2 while playing around with it.

Thanks for the input, guys. I was leaning towards using my impact gun because there's just not enough room under the car even on the ramps to use a long breaker bar. I can barely turn on my side, so there's not enough room for me to put myself at an advantage like if I were able to stand under the car and be able to plant my feet on the ground. Too bad I wasn't still in school then I would have been able to put my car on a lift and the DP would have been in already!

Yeah, a DP is what I think I need next. Let us know how it goes (and feels for that matter!).

You're breaker bar is not long enough then. I use a 5' pipe that is long enough so that I can stand next to the car and pull on it. It's very important to have a helper hold one of those foam boards for gardeners to kneel on between the pipe and bottom of the car in case of a bolt breaking. You can do anything with enough leverage.
