ok well as you all know i am new and have been asking alot of questions on here ... but this time i was woundering how i should start modding my new/used 97 gt i was told to start to do the suspension and brakes i think with the last post i got enough info the springs but with the brakes i was looking at doing the dual pistion calipers and 12in brakes but my question was do i need larger rims/tires i so confused with were to start i want this one to be my dd and my sat night toy lol... ummm yea you guys have been helpful

As long as you don't have the crossed-laced wheels, you should be fine.

um really not sure my budget this will be an overall things i think i got like 1500 or so right now maybe like a 1000 i was gonna use that for my system that i had but i need 2 more amps then to have them install but right now im enjoying the 12 disc cd changer lol

start with cold air intake, and down pipe ... easy mods to start with

why don't you check over everything on the car. its ten years old, somehting could be wearing or worn out already. then do some routine maintenance. then the fun part.
