heres the scoop, just sitting on the hood right now, haven't got it molded in yet.


I haven't decided what color to paint my the middle of my air dam, I'm thinking a flat black like this one.






I did a panoramic shot for fun. The stitching didn't work out that great but overall it wasn't too bad.


And I brought sexy back with a little photoshopping.

Love the photos dude and the scoop looks good although I think your car would look meaner having 2. That one is unique though, i do like it its diffrent.

But on a side note, do you always wallow through your yard in your GTP? I get yelled at when I drive in my yard.

That scoop is going to look BA! I would paint it the car color. Make it look like its not just an add on.

i know man, I wish I had you do it. i've been trying to get this guy up here to do it but I haven't seen him recently. I am hoping to do it soon.

The scoop will be painted the same color of the car. Once I get it done it will be flat black until I get the car repainted in spring. It will be functional, not just a stick on, i'll be cutting a hole in the hood to move more air across the motor to cool it down and prevent heat soak. No ram air here since it doesn't work on FI.

And no, I can do whatever I want in that yard lol. Demolition Derby anyone?

14 hrs is nothen .. i wouldnt have worried about that .... i drove that 14 hrs in one day when i went to az last month lol plus it would have only been 7 hrs half way ... thats nothen at all lol

I love the look of the air dam and I think the scoop is gonna look tough when you get it molded in (much like Chico's) and those projectors look boss as hell...I've got to get me a set of those.

Do you have the halos on a seperate switch or just hooked in with the parking light circuit?

I am REALLY groovin on those pics. And you're right: the final pic that was chopped is bringin sexy back to cool. That gray scale is the next black, thats for sure.

They are wired to a seperate switch that I put just out of sight under the dash (just below the dim switch). I wired them into an accessory wire so I can't accidentally leave them on and drain the battery. I didn't run them into the parking light because then my corners would be on and I wouldn't like the look.

The scoop is very similar to Chicos, if not the same thing. You can see where I cut the hole to put in the grill that matches my other grills so it won't be mixed and matched.

The projectors are sealed just fine, I have not seen any condensation problems. Theirs many places that sell them now, ebay would be a good place to start.

im gonna have to go out on a limb here and say that #3 is CALENDAR WORTHY!!!

From what I've heard from a few members of other boards is newegg mall doesnt ship your lights, just refund the money, they can be found for >$250 shipped on ebay.

I like the last one the most but I don't think that follows the calender rules. however I do have the original of it.

When is the calender pics being taken? I want to have my hood done by then.

I have a 3.4, 180 tstat, 104s, LS1 tb, overkill fwi and pcm and a stainless powerlog. i've bought an SBC cam and ls1 springs and retainers, i'm just waiting on receiving them to put them in. so our motors would be close when thats all done.

though yours is painted so it looks good. i've got some pieces under the hood painted and some polished. I need to get my case and snout and alternator polished still, then it's done.

Like the hood scoop, I think the flat black would look good.

I have to tell you though, Im digging those projector lights. I said I would never get them because its ugly but the more I look at your car, the more I want them.

I'm painting the scoop the same color as the car, i don't want it to look like i painted the hood scoop flat black off the car and then just stuck it on.

i'm probobly going to paint the middle of the air dam flat black or a dark grey.
