I tired getting my trailing arms last week and the rear bolts wouldnt come off with wrench, breaker bar, torch, and impact gun. Anyone do anything that made it easier? or just brute force?

Just used a ratcheting wrench on the front. Think I used a bfw and a bfh on the rear bolt.

Take the nut off first

use a 23mm socket on the bolt with a 1/2" breaker bar, you'll get it eventually
once its moving, use a impact going forward and backwards to loosen the bolt, spray a tiny bit of PB blaster between the trailing arm and the spindle and also on the bolt itself..continue to go backwards and forwards with the impact gun, eventuaaly it will come out (use a screwdriver then a open end wrench to help the bolt come out of the hole)

Pain in the butt, but it can be done

Spray twice a day for 3-4 days, then try again. That MN winter salt has got them rusted on pretty tight.

So it's really a PITA to remove them...Hah? Mine rusted-out also from the Salty Sea Breeze & I am hoping to find a more Massive After Market one.

I had to garage the GP as the Rattling & Banging of the loose-end was so very annoying with ever little imperfection in the streets...well, just until I can get some info or do some research to find one that's better than the Stock.

Any suggestions?
