I just started to have a problem with my driver side wiper last week. I have a 01 Grand Prix Gt. The wiper seems to be bent from the ice. It doesnt park all the way down(maybe 1 inch from the cowl)and when it wipes, it wipes off the windsheild. I tried to fix it my holding the one side down for a split second while the driver went up and that seemed to work good for about a week. Do u think that the nut on the wiper is loose??? Any ideas???

sounds like you just need to take the wiper arm off and clean the splines it slides onto. Just use a pick or something like that then reinstall the arm and you should be good to go.

Yeah i am worried about stripping the little slots on the arm. And plus dont u have to torque them when u put them back on

I'm sure there is a torque spec there is for almost anything. I have never used it though. So there are slots on the wiper arm it self or just were it mounts?

Easy fix. Lift the cover up (it's hinged) slide the clip over pull straight up on the wiper arm line up where you want the arm at push back onto the stup push in the clip and close the cover.
