Alright, I finally have my free time after insane busy work.

When I installed my right side of HID. It is working perfect as test.

Then I installed left side of HID. All sudden my car is just flicking like crazy from turn singal, dashboard light, tailight. It almost like 2 HID cause too much power on my car.

I unplugged the left side off. It went back normal. Guess SE has little power than GT/P do? If so guess time to put projector light bulb back. It was sweet but guess my car is not strong enough for handle both HID. All I was install as plug and play just like 20gtp02 does.

You need a 9007 HID harness, you have bad ground.

were you testing with the engine running? if not, try again with engine running... you shouldn't turn them on with the engine off, often times they will fail to fire.

That's why I'm confused why some of you use plug and play and have no issue. I wish mine is easy like that.

I looked at clubgp hid info.

DON'T run HID's with stock wiring. I know I know, HID's are 35 watts and halogens are 55 watts, BUT the amount of wattage required at start-up and warm up is what WILL fry your stock wiring over time. There is about 45 seconds after start-up when they are draining more power than normal, and you can see when it stops doing it. About 45 seconds or so after start-up you will notice the lights get slightly dimmer just like that *snaps*, like a switch was flipped. This is when the lights are only drawing 35 watts. Some HID kits come with wiring harnesses already, so if it does you do not need to buy one. If it didn't come with a harness, YOU WILL NEED ONE! Don't let ANYONE tell you that you can run HID's on stock wiring. Anyone who thinks you can run HID's on stock wiring, please show proof, because I have not seen any yet. A wiring harness draws power from the battery, taking the strain off of the stock wiring. This is the best harness available, IMO, and its only 15 bucks.

Guess that's reason why it happened to me.

Since I have H1 HID projector. So I really need to get H1 relay or get 9007 relay. I'm getting confused why I should pick 9007 but I really have H1 hid?

http://shop.3bspecialties.com/product.sc?productId=22&categoryId=10

Do I need buy 2 of them for left and right headlight? There is no Pontiac on harness option. Guess it is standard harness?

Anyone have picture of them for how to install them?

Supposedly you want the 9007 harness, however I know I ordered the H1 harness, and it works fine. *shrug*

I take that 9007 harness or H1 harness work either? I guess I will just order 9007 harness since this car come from stock 9007.

They are just plug and play?

You will plug the harness in to your stock connector, and you will also need to connect the harness to the positive battery terminal and a ground point. I used the same chassis ground as the battery uses, you can follow the wire down to the chassis from where it splits off the negative battery cable. Then you just remove the bolt that's holding it down, sand down the paint, and reattach with the relay ground in addition to the battery ground.

Damn 01 gt you are lucky bastard. mad

Do you have a picture on the car? I know picture always help me lot since I'm very wire idiot. It was HARD when I splice them together on my 04+ leather seat in late 2008. I was hoping never do that again. lol
