The point of the relay harness is to provide power directly from the battery instead of trying to pull it through the tiny stock wires. So the stock wires are used to toggle the switch which requires very little power, and the battery provides the actual power to the ballast.

I don't have a good picture, I can try to take one later. Here's a poor one:

You can see the fuse attaching to the positive battery terminal, and if you look in between the wire loom and coolant hose, you can faintly see the ground wire, it has some white text printed on it.

I should note that you'll only have the fuse that's in the center of the pic, the other red wires in mine are for my amp.

Here's a better picture of the ground:

Thank for help. It does help little bit. I guess I have to wait for wire harness to see myself where they are supposed to connect. I will order it now. Always busy work too much. frown

I cannot believe I forgot my question #2. I thought I already asked.

I have trouble how to hold H1 hid on my new projector.

stock projector.

hid projector.. totally fail for trying get metal hold it lol

So what you all guy make it hold it? I try figure it out how to put metal thing to hold it but HID is like few inch more than stock projector. I was thinking maybe seal it with RTV? So it should be hold strong enough?

Does everyone have problem with turn singal is not tight enough on this projector? Mine is not tight enough. I try hard to turn but it won't go anyway. If I turn "unlocked" then it is off easy. Can't have that when turn light is loose easy. Maybe RTV seal it again.

You've got the bulb upside down. See how the halogen had the flat part on the base of the bulb facing the bottom left in that pic? the HID bulb should face the same way. Then the bulb will go fully in the socket and you can use the wires to hold it in place just like the halogen was.

My turn signal is tight, maybe you're missing the o-ring?

You should be able to use metal clip to hold bulb in without any issues.
You don't have it in correctly.

It was hard to tight turn singal with bracket around. I have huge hand. lol Yes, I do have o-ring on it.

Again it was little tough to make metal clip together with my big hand with small tool. Guess I need find skinny boy.

I will give it shot later when I get relay harness first.

Maybe, I'm going to decide put halo on it. Guess it is not hurt to try. I plan to use turn singal and fog light on with halo. Do you use that wire like (headlight socket, turn signal socket and corner socket wire or did you use that wire where it connect to 3 sockets? I believe it is brown and black that I need to connect. Cut it and tie it togteher with butt connector. Probably simple just like I did with 04+ leather seat from driver power seat.

I tied my halos in to my fogs, it was a purple wire I think.

not if you tap into the fogs. you could tap into your parking lights as well, or run a completely different switch.

if you tap them into the turn signal they will be off except when your turn signal is on, then they will flash. dumb IMO, but you could do it if that's what you wanted.

yes they would still work.

stock wires weren't designed to handle the high start-up current that HIDs require. using a harness guarantees your ballasts will see full voltage and the wires are thick enough to handle the current without degrading.

what?

tap them in to whatever you want... corner lamps, parking lamps, turn signals, fogs.... any will work.
