Going to paint the airdam sometime this week when I get the paint made up. It's just put up there in the pics, I'm not driving around with it on when it looks like that. I may glue my grills to the air dam as well so make it look better since it was cut before to fit different grills. I wish it wasn't cut so I didn't have to use grills, I think the FMIC showing looks so nice.

And here are some money shots!

Yes. A lot. I haven't got it tuned yet but it is still a huge difference compared to my black one.

I only really get half throttle at most and with low boost it really sits you back.

My sister was in the passenger seat yesterday and said it felt like being on a rollercoaster hah.

That FMIC does look SO sick down there. Really pops out IMO

What kind of exhaust set up is on this one?

This ic is huge.

And exhaust it's 3 inch all the way back to the Y. 2.5" Y to 2.25" muffs I believe. No resonator, no cat right now but I am putting one on. Also has a 3" electric cutout at the bottom of the downpipe.

So what are the plans? I mean, are you going to build the black GP up big time?

Time to black those tails out?

The black GP is getting an l36 I think. Just going to use it to take me and my gf back and forth from work and school.

The red one I am just going to powdercoat some more parts, throw on my powdercoated stuff, add my HV3 I've got, wire tuck and tune it. That's all for under the hood.

I'll eventually finish my coilovers to slam the front and get some ZZP trailing arms (I am not taking my GMPP ones off the black car, the stock ones were a HUGE PITA to get off). I've already put my GMPP rear sway and Progress front on it and it has AGX's all the way around so it's good to go.

I should have my interior finished in the next few weeks.

Then get it painted black with some sort of flake (maybe red or copper?).

Then that's the end of the modding days for the car.

RS I love this car. The paint really pops out, previous person must have taken great care of it? I think you got a great vehicle and can't want to see more pics!

Overall it is great but the hood is really bad and under the spoiler on the trunk is bad. The clear is peeling off the front fender which you can see in the first pic and there are a few dents here and there. Other than that it is good. I am going to get a random orbital buffer to get rid of the spiderweb scratches.

i had to widen my holes quite a bit but yes they do fit in the stock holes. You will also need to buff the crap out of your trunk as my slp spoiler sits further back towards the back of the car than the stock spoiler.

Go with the PC7424 for a buffer.

Car looks sick man. I love the way that IC looks.

I love your wheels on the new ride! That is gonna be a potent machine when you get done.

We may be vacationing to Canada next year...if so I'm gonna have to stop in and check the hardware out.

The black ones? They are the same ones I had on my black one LOL. Guess they just look different on the red.

I knew they were the same wheels, I just really like the look of them on the new car (I liked them on the black car as well, but they really pop on the red car)

Back from the dead, didn't even see this post. They are Zen ZR5 rims with Nexen n3000 tires. Good luck finding these rims though, they are not common and AFAIK the only GP that has them so I like them that much more.

I just finished painting it two days ago, I used base and clear instead of the 1 step urethane shit.

Painting with a real gun instead of rattle can is so much better and gives you much better results. This looks professional and it's my first time using this type of paint/gun. I didn't have the best environment either, just stapled up some plastic in the garage to keep fumes and overspray in and dust out.

The clear is the most noticeable difference between base/clear and rattle can clearcoat.

I am wetsanding it now and buffing to make it glisten like Edward Cullen in the sun.

haha, no junky but I know what twilight is.

and Corey your comment made me laugh out loud.

Update for you!

AND!! This is what it should be like after an alignment with thinner tires, I'll be able to lower the coilovers to about there in the front.

The only thing that is still on this car, appearance wise, from the last owner is the hood (needs a repaint) and spoiler. The rest is mine, both sets of projectors, SD lip, rims, grills, coilovers, etc.

So i'll take that as a compliment I guess.
