OK so I've been driving the new GP for about a week now and it has a little problem...sort of.

Whenever I'm on the highway, cruising at about 70, and I floor it, the car shudders very noticeably, but not violently or anything. It seems to do it only in second gear (I havnent been able to get it at WOT in third yet wink ), so that leads me to believe that its something with the tranny? The previous owner had the car in the shop trying to get it fixed, but they couldn't figure it out so its still there.

I had a previous thread about this but no one responded.

Any imput is much appreciated guys.

I dont know much about cars, but my old car used to shake when i went over 70 and it was because the tires were unalligned.. So maybe thats your problem? Hopefully nothings wrong with the tranny..

Well it only does it when I accelerate, so I dunno.

Yeah I hope its not the tranny either ha.

cant really tell with the info you gave. SOUNDS like tires, rims, suspension, or alignment. With any luck, you dont have any tranny problems. if you could describe your issue in further detail, I/we may be able to help even more.

Well I really don't know how to describe it more.

It doesn't do it at all in 1st gear, it mainly does it when I just accelerate in second gear, pretty hard, but not necessarily at WOT. So it only mainly does it when I'm on the high way accelerating, or when I'm accelerating pretty hard in second from around 30. Its just wierd.

I hope this helped clarify.

I had a problem like this kinda, for me it was because my rotors was warped in the front and I needed a 4 wheel alignment and it does not shake any more when I accelerate or maintaining a speed on the highway.

Hopefully this could be your solution but most likely in your case its sound like a little problem.

I hope its not the tranny, good luck man.
