Finally got some new rubber and wheels as you can see in the calender pic entries, but went to leave school the other day (a couple feet) and the car was a dog so i stopped right away and had a flat in one of the brand new tires. Looked at it didnt see anything got some air in it and drove it to the gas station to fill it to 35psi.....got home and it was allready 25psi and dropping.....finally took it off to see 7 1" slits in the back of the tire....very dissapointed i went to the local shop and the cheapest high rated tire i could get was $150 balanced on my wheel......point of this post basically being peoples opinions? ne word on these tires any recals? there douglas tires from chico the ones he had on before the mustang wheels

Sounds like someone slit ur tires bro.

if they were slits/slices from someone cutting your tire then you wouldn't even be able to fill the tire up with air.

Sounds like a manufacturer defect to me.

I bet something was run over, it would only take 1 slit to let the air out if someone was going to mess with you.

The tires I sold you had 0 miles on them ,you can get a replacement at Walmart ,I would take the tire to walmart and see if they will replace it just say you lost the bill ,post some pics of the tire .

Yeah, Wal-Mart *should* pro-rate the tire and give it to you for free if there is more than 90% of the tread left on it. But that might only be if they have road hazard insurance on them...

However, if they are like my shop, they are going to pull up the previous work order if you don't bring the paperwork yourself.

You could lie to them and say you had it done more than 3 years ago, because IIRC that's the cut-off point.

OR, if Chico bought them at Wal-Mart, he can go in and request the paperwork and he could see if he can send it to you.

Because if you buy a battery at one wal-mart and it goes out before the warranty is up, ANY TLE department is required to honor and replace it.

I'll talk to my manager at work tomorrow, see what I can pull up.

well its like an hour away....its just getting to the northeast

walmart will let you return ANYTHING, regardless of if you bought it there or not, in my experience.

im gunna have to see if they take it back ill make the trip.....chico how much were they each? so i can make sure i get the full refund if they take it......Pics coming soon i took 6
