Since it is new question. I would say no about replace Pontiac Grand Prix for 2010 Camaro.

If this isnt just another screen name for the same guy then I will apologize for my comments.

True it was a simple question but I think many people (myself included) bought a GP because they wanted something sporty that was still a bit practical. F-body cars have along history of being woefully impractical cars...my 79 T/A certainly was...didnt stop me from loving it, but impractical nonetheless.

I could be in love with the new Camaro head over heels (which I'm not...still ticked over no firebird) but it still would not be a decent replacement for my GP...lousy back seat room, little to no trunk space just for starters.

I also dont think GM will oust Pontiac...reduce it to a niche market with just a few models, yes but there are other marques they will lose first. Saturn for one and Hummer for another. I read in Car and Driver that they may tell dealers they will have to carry Buick/Pontiac/GMC if they are to survive.
