My rear view fell down, and you're supposed to glue the metal mounting tab up there first, and clip on the mirror at a later time.

How in the world do you seperate the mounting tab (or whatever its connected to) and the rest of the rear-view mirror?

My buddies 89 Buick was an allen screw, but yet again, thats an 89 Buick.

unless yours is an allen screw, you'll probably have to pry it off with a screwdriver, or if you'r lucky, push it backwards out of the slots. just be careful, you don't want to mark up the mirror clip too bad, or you'll end up buying a new one. maybe somebody has a better method
