Hey guys howz it goin? Im looking to sell my intercooler that I just put on this last summer. I would include the whole kit with everything you need to install it. I want to sell it because im going to get an air to air because i plan on doing a turbo build. I would like to have $850 out of it. Its still on the car but if someone is a serious buyer I will take it off asap and get it shipped. Let me kno if youre interested.

Correct me if I'm wrong but isn't liquid better then air to air? when it comes to reducing inlet temps?

not with turbo, I asked Cartuning about this and they said the A2A is much better when it comes to turbo.

Plus with the A2A their is no coolant and more importantly no constantly running pump (which may fail and cause you a BIG headache).

Well evidently air to air is better when youre doing a turbo setup because ive been doing some research and everyone says to switch over to air to air

mostly because air to air is more efficient and has less moving parts

so it would be bad to have an a2a on a supercharged setup?

you can't do A2A on a roots style blower.

You can, but it doesn't work as well as W2A.

Herc, they use A2A on turbo these cars.

It would be insulting if I told you. Put it this way I can't afford a DP. Three kids tend to suck you dry.

Air to air is going to increase lag due to more piping. But, its more reliable considering no water/pump system needed.

Air to water is the best, period, and any argument is based off of what I said above. Look at what the best and highest performing cars in the world use.
Air to water is more flexible. Put the core where you want it, put the heat exchanger where you want it, and just connect with pipe. You could also use an ice chiller for shorter runs. No huge restrictive piping.
A2A setups average 1-2 psi drop. A2W average less than 0.2 psi drop.
A2W is also more consistant and easier to tune with.

Is that psi drop based off a good A2W setup, or the typical heater core setup? I've read the better design (bar-and-plate I think?) does significantly better at reducing lost psi versus a heater core. Makes sense.
