Just FYI in case anyone was interested...

I emailed Jimmy C the other day to ask about his downpipes since I hadn't seen any on ClubGP in awhile.

He said he's just ordered material for 9 DPs coming up shortly. I might be adding my name to his list as the 10th (but Jimmy doesn't really take orders anymore, I just lucked out so please don't bombard him with emails requesting DPs!).

Just wanted to let you guys know to keep your eyes open on clubGP if you are in the market for a JimmyC DP.

If/When he makes then, make sure you get one. It's worth it. His craftsmanship is thumbsup

I saw there was a new guy on ClubGP selling a similar product. But I figured I'd go with Jimmy's reputation.

When I was in the market for a D/P, I had a line on a used one that included installation (was not a JimmyC D/P). This guy needed a stock D/P and we were going to trade, plus a little cash. This guy told me that the person that was going to do all the swapping/welding/work lives in San Antonio and I might have to make the trip down there. He then told me it was JimmyC, I wasted no time telling him never mind. If JimmyC's going to weld on my car, it'll be because he's installing one of his D/P's, not someone else's.
Unfortunatly I have one of the first gen's. They whistle when you get on it. It seems to not whistle as much as it did when it was new. I'd love to get one of his new ones. I've heard they don't whistle at all.

Good luck with it and let us know how it is when you get it installed!

Can I ask, with no disrepect towards Jimmy, what is so great about his? What makes it so different from a local place doing it?

I would also look at this:

Ordonez, it's the quality of his work. He won't play around with you or your money.

Hello,

I thought I would share this..... wink

UPDATE: 27 December 05

New prices and taking orders.........to try and help you AND I, I have decided to reduce the price of all my pipes AND begin taking orders again (with exception). I cannot keep "inventory", so all orders will be filled once payment is received and parts can be ordered. This means that from the time of ordering, to time of DP in hand, will be about 2 1/2 weeks.
