The past several times I filled up my car with gas (93 octane) after about 50 miles the service engine soon light comes on, so I remove the gas cap, re-install it and give it a couple of minutes and the light turns off. The seal in the gas cap look ok, there’s no cut, and it's not dried out, am I missing something? Also I just installed a BORLA cat-back exhaust, im wondering if that could be bothering me too.

It would seem the "check engine soon" light is there strictly for emissions stuff. Find out which auto parts store in your area has a engine light reader and provides free readings (Auto Zone does it here in Sandy Eggo). That'll tell you what the problem (if any) is, and they can turn the light off for you. I got a check engine soon light about half a year ago, Auto Zone checked it and went on to say it could be an anomaly. They turned it off and said to watch for it (how can we not). It's never come on again.
