Hey guys, Wrasp here. I used to visit quite often but lost my login. Glad to be back smile

Now on to my question. I just bought a 2003 GT that was a theft recovery. All they did was cut up the interior and steal the air bags. I have all the replacement parts already but my question is this. The new dash I have has a HUD just wondering if anyone knew if the wiring would be there for it ? or if not is it easy to wire up?

Hope someone can help, will look silly if it doesn't work.

Only problem I am gonna have is that i have to hard wire them in and in step 7 where it tells me how to do this, the link is dead frown

If you have the plugs procede to the next section. If you don't have them and want to hard wire the HUD in anyway click here to view a ClubGP.com wiring diagram post.

the clik here is broken. Any idea where i can fins working link.

Also I had heard that there is a special film in the windshiled for hud to work. How does it look on standard windshiled ?

I'm not sure about the link. Maybe someone can check it out and fill in the blanks for you.

There is a HUD specific windsheild that you can get from any glass company. If your insurance covers glass, put a crack in it and have it replaced. They will ask if you have a HUD and get you the reflective windshield.

OK everyone, I know this is insurance fraud. Don't give me crap, I don't care.

If you need an electrical diagram for a GP, I'd suggest hunting down Back In Black on ClubGP. If there is anything you need electrical, he usually is the one to ask first.

Nope. How long was it since you pm'd him? He can be slow to respond, but you might as well post over on clubgp, perhaps their electronics forum. Do us all a favor when/if you get the directions and hook up the HUD: Take pics and write the instructions down so others can follow your footsteps.

I have a wiring diagram on my website. Not sure how much it'll help you. It is pretty in depth though.
