ok so i had a problem earlier when my HIDs in my projectors stopped working. i found out that i burned out the fuse from not disabling the unlock flash feature. i replaced the hids and projectors with my stock headlights and bulbs and it still dident work.

today i bought a new fuse from pepboys and replaced it and it was fixed....for about an hour then it stopped working again.

im guessing that i fried my stock wireing harness with the hids flashing with the unlock.

thats the only conclusion i can make

any other ideas??

i ordered 2 new harness that are ment for HIDs. are they hard to install??

thanks
mac

Is the fuse blown again?

the harnesses are easy to install.

You know there is a reason they tell you to disable the flash. LOL.

The harness should fix your problem, with the harness you'll be getting power directly from the battery, and the stock wires are just providing an "on/off" signal to a relay. This means your stock wires will be pulling very little current. If you still have problems once you install the upgraded harness, start looking for a frayed wire that is shorting out.
