yea lol i guess we have to start somewhere haha im just wanna make sure im doing things right

im supposed to get 2k from the government so instead of jumping into the top swap im thinking about the tog 3" dp cai and 180 t stat and ill have a grand left over so i ll only have to save a lil ... lol zzp said they would do the install of the top swap and intercooler for 600 which isnt bad i just got to find time to drive 10 hours or find a shop here ....

or just DIY! get the top-swap parts from ed morad for like $750 and the gaskets. it will total right around $1300 or so

lol hmmm i was thinking about it but i work full time and its my dd my other gp needs a battery and the reg is kinda suspened lol but i drove while doing the lowering so i dont know....

There are only 2 or 3 sub-10 second GPs, they are both fully built, twin-turbo, stripped out drag cars, realize these are v6's and are not meant to be strip only cars, you better plan lots of time and money and buy another car to be your daily driver, if you do everything to this car that you say you want to do.

Do the top end swap on your own. It's not worth it to pay ZZP for it... Just dedicate a full weekend to it, and you can do the headers etc at the same time. Its not that bad really if you have some mechanical knowledge. I would recommend doing an XP cam at the same time, if you did that and drop to a 3.4" pulley and got a good tune, I think you'd hit low 13's. With an intercooler and a few other mods, drop pulleys again and there's your 12's.
