04+ L32s are hampered big time by torque management. But in all reality it will be a driver's race. Either car on any day.

i see you cant let the tornado thing die, i already explained all that many times and let it go, but some just have to bring it up again. thats crazy. but any way. the torrent gxp has 265 hp bone stock. the monte ss is supercharged with the same engine as my 98 gtp. so it should be a close race. i only ran my gtp once with a best time of 14.85 a friend of mine has a 04 monte ss and his best time is a 15.33. and the best time i got out of my torrent gxp was a 15.09. so i should be able to take my uncle's 04 monte ss. but he is a pretty good racer too. so we will have to line them all up and see which will win.

Which has been reccomended to you and mentioned by yourself that you need to race, but yet you keep talking about the 2 cars racing. Just race and find out already.

well we will. but some had to throw crap in there that should have been done and over with. i got over it and they should too. i just wanted everyone's take on the races. has anyone ever raced or know anyone that has raced or seen a race between a 04 monte ss and a 97-03 gtp?

Like said, the 04 Monte SS can be SC or NA, if it is NA, you will smoke it unless you spin like mad off the line. If they are both SC, then tires and launch will be the deciding factor, unless one of you is sporting E3 plugs which give you the winning edge. LOL

Ive smoked a good many Montes. Ive seen N/A Montes smoke the life outta GTPs. Go and effin race. Quit typing and start driving. You annoy me.
