Didn't the 04 Monte's come with the L32 with the Gen V? They do have more torque management, though. It should be close. No one will "smoke" anyone.

im not sure what the monte has, i havent had a chance to look under the hood yet. all he said was it was a 3800 series 2 which is what i have in my gtp, but i thought the 04 monte ss had the 3800 series 3. not sure. either way it should be a good race.

As you can see Ive been being nice and not saying anything. I have beaten SS monte's but that doesn't apply to this topic.

oh ok, well since we both have series II then it will be interesting. not sure about the gear ratio in both cars are or anything yet, i havent checked into all that yet. but still should be a good race between the monte and the grand prix and the monte and the torrent. thanks for bein nice, its not neccesary to talk bs for asking for input. i bet you beat up on some monte's pretty bad. u just dont see too many montes compared to grand prixs around here. has to be a reason for that.

No the 04 monteSS Sc came with L-67 as did the 04 chev Imp.SS left overs at GM ,just clarifying not that it will make a big diff.

So for all you know he could be modded and supercharged if that's all he said.
