There are clamps that you can use to compress the springs. But I don't put much faith in those to hold for long.

Something like this coil spring lowering clamps

can i have those free springs you guys were talkin about, ill throw in for shipping plus a hundred bucks, assuming they are in good shape. are they lowering or just replacements? im doing my struts in two weeks....keep a look out for the post on the curb i hit on monday, ill post it later tonight...
